Two fictional scenarios:
Dwight is sincere =
Dwight wants to sign another 5 year guaranteed contract before he gets
injured or 30 years old. Therefore he will not opt-in, or sign a small extension. He would like
to stay in his comfort zone of Orlando, and he knows that Orlando will give him the max.
He's a mamas boy. He is irrirated by the Three Amigos in Miami, and really wants to beat them.
Championship or not don't matter as much.
Dwight is not sincere =
He is following his agent and "people"'s directions. Whenever he
is away from them, Alex/Otis/teammates-Nelson,Baby? try to pull him to the Magic side.
That's why this summer was bad because Otis said they couldn't talk to Howard and convince
him LIKE THEY DO EVERY SUMMER. Dwight said "get me the best ad deals, legacy, and
brand", and Fegan said, "okay, first you have to go to a big city, since big companies
gear their ads to big cities. Then you have to produce showtime material with a good PG
throwing lobs to you possibly".
Okay, here is a third one:
Dwight don't know what he wants.
