Also, Howard doesn't deserve this crap ESPN and other media outlets are spewing. Let the man make his own damn decision. If it's not in accordance to what you're looking for then you can sit the F down. Amazing how everyone gets up in arms with a man doing what he thinks is right. Magic fans here are no exception, although he could have definitely handled this much more properly, same message regardless.

ESPN still trying to make the case that Dwight opting-in is a bad thing... Christ... let it go ... in the words of Kenny Smith to Shaq (about the superman nickname)... LET IT GO!

If Hedo and Duhon are traded, Orlando will not have ball handlers. Nelson will miss more games this season; do we fans really want Smith to start?

If he signs the magic need to be very thrifty this year with their moves. They need to focus on minor stuff that either cuts money in 2013 or at least does not add any commitments beyond this year. We can be in great shape for to make a huge splash in FA in 2013.
Gotta love Loyalty! Go Magic!

Fegan has not commented publicly beyond a statement provided to hand-picked media outlets Wednesday night was not believed to be joining Howard Thursday for his meeting with Magic officials.

One of two things happens: Fegan signs the waiver and faxes it, or Dwight fires Fegan and signs as his own agent. Either way, I have to believe at this point it's getting signed.

Any other result would injure Dwight's image and persona so badly he could forget about all those endorsement deals down the line. Heck, major sponsors will already be wondering if they want to align with him after this.

One last hail mary by Berger? Jeez. We shall find out soon enough.....

really? IN times like this? We're poking fun of Dwight who still hasn't sign the dotted line? REALLY?

Have to admit, that was funny.

I had a laugh too. But man, that was uncalled for right now. Must have been Stan. Sounds like a Stan comment to me. hahaha

So Dwight is actually losing money by opting in... ESPN says for him to get the most money, he should promise them he'll opt-out and come right back to get the most money.. but D12 understands everythings been so crazy that'll take this lose and opt in!

New respect for this man!

Exactly. Switch Hedo for JRich/BBD here and I'm fine - provided that we also pick up decent back up for Jameer.

+1
Yeah I saw that... but something doesn't add up when ESPN showed those numbers (kind of hard to trust them atm.. they could skew any stat/detail in their favor)

either way, mad respect to Dwight

There sources are their friends, bloggers, Forums and their pen. They make money off controversy they create. That won't chance. ESPN is more TMZ.

Dwight opting in will make him more money next season then he would have on the first year of a new contract signing with a new team . Also, one of the espn guys reported Dwight was gonna lose a bunch of money from Adidas for missing the playoffs if he got traded to the nets

Return to Orlando Magic
