It is Jason "White Chocolate" Williams that he is talking about.

The other one spells his name like this - Jayson Williams
Reporter - How do you feel about your first triple double?

Bo Outlaw - What is that some kind of cheeseburger?

Jayson was the center that killed his driver (played for the nets IIRC) not the Jason from Duke.

How Far LeBron would carry the current Magic?

LOL. That is the best.

For a guy that makes a statement that he would like to see the NBA Final LA Lakers vs LA Lakers they should honor him with a team name. The guy should resign after making such statements. What a shame.

I borrowed that name for my sig.

That dirty SOB Stern wants to eliminate Hack-A-Howard.

Stern told the guys from the Fox Sports New Orleans broadcast team (when he sat in with them for a bit Wednesday night during the Hornets/Lakers game) he tried to get it banned completely, but couldn’t. Thanks to Henry Abbott at TrueHoop for the transcription:

“I would have liked to have seen the rule changed to make the last-two-minute rule the whole rule,” he said. “It was getting to a point last year where, [in the] first period, they were just grabbing players. I think that’s ludicrous.

“We tried to change it to any time in the game because last year I guess it was everyone was fouling Tiago Splitter early on and the committee didn’t want to do it. And so that’s just the way it is. Because the reality is that there are a lot of basketball purists — and I understand that point of view — who say, ‘Hey, why don’t you learn to shoot foul shots? You’re supposed to be a pro.’”

He sure as hell didn't care when Dwight was a Magic Man.

Magic are not Sterns team and he didn't go to our games. Now, it's personal.

his most marketable team just got a hell of a lot more boring to watch. Stern gotta do something to sell more!

when Dwight was with the Magic, though, it was the exact opposite. officiating got harder on us. Stern's a joke.

the hack-a-whoever style is just pathetic basketball to watch. it's not entertaining at all. but that doesn't mean big, dominant guys like Dwight should be given a free pass to just barrel into the paint and score without fear of being exposed at the free throw line.

if Stern goes that path, he's going to open the door to the league becoming a big man's league again - book it. and he certainly won't want that.

NBA Talent Evaluators Express Pessimism About 2013 Draft

Top talent evaluators from around the NBA expressed pessimism about the 2013 draft in general and the No. 1 pick in particular.

"I'd trade the pick for sure," one NBA GM said. "No one wants to pick first this year -- and no one can live up to the No. 1 billing."

"It's the worst it's ever been," said another.

"I'm glad we won't be picking at the top," added one director of player personnel.

Cody Zeller is the consensus choice for the top spot, even though he possesses short arms and plays subpar defense.

"He'll never be a great NBA player," one NBA scouting director said.

C'mon now this has nothing to do with the Magic or LA.
He wanted to change the rule way before Dwight was traded.

the hack a howard isn't boring, it's arguably the most drama and tense filled moments of games right now, he can make his damn free throws to stop it, Stern is leaving anyways.

I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

Couldn't have said it better... When the game is in the balance, the hack-a-howard is very entertaining. Its OK for freak athleticism to have an advantage, but not free throws? If anything it needs to be something up and coming big men notice and actually work on.

Respected Bulls poster heard rumor that Orlando was interested in Boozer. For what? Who knows, but what do you think we'd package (and why)? I don't care if it's false, impossible, whatever; it's something to talk about in this SPECULATION thread.

It would have to be come back with a draft pick or 2. Maybe Charlotte's and their own. I imagine we'd give up one of JJ/Afflalo and BBD. Or we'd work something around the TPE.

Edit: He actually mentions Redick in the post.

They think we would give up the TPE and draft picks for just Boozer. They are definitely on something.
Not changing this Sig until the Orlando Magic win a championship (Technically Started 1-30-08)

I would rather have BBD at $6 mil per over Boozer with his 3 years $15.5mil per any day of the week.
