Otis 2.0? Wake up, that's one of the most irrational statements I've heard. Just like Simmons said tonight, Henni rebuilt this team in 12 months.

Random thought: maybe I can now unblock BMP, since we didn't take Noel I'm hoping his posts won't be so negative.

Solid pick

Afflalo is most likely on his way before the season begins

This is total conspiracy theory but when Henny was asked what this meant for Afflalo, he said something like, it means Aaron has another guard on the roster and then released a massive twitch. Could have been a sign.

He is not on a level with Otis, but he is absolutely NOT the messiah that most of this board makes him out to be.

He has had one great move (JJ for Tobes), a few stunningly bad ones (Iggy to Denver, failing to trade down in this draft), and a couple that any other GM could have made (he doesn't get credit for getting a couple nice-not-great young players in return for a prime Dwight).

Jury is still out, but I continue to say the early returns are not that great.

How was not getting Iggy a bad move? I'd take the package we got over getting Iggy for a year any day. Also, I don't see why not trading down is a big deal either. We have no clue what teams may have wanted from the Magic for those picks. Also, it's wayyyy too earlier to even say if some of those players would have been worth it, or if they will be any good at all.

I swear the whining on this board tonight is so ridiculous! People just wanted to see moves for the sake of moves, which would have been absolutely terrible to do. The offseason is not over and there a lots of ways to acquire more players and improve this team. Stop freaking out people and how about you wait to judge this team when the season actually starts? Otis 2.0, really people? Some of you guys seem to forget too easily how crappy he was. We just got arguable the best player in the draft, be happy people!

Dude, you just quoted Bill Simmons? Oh boy, we are way worse than I thought.

Lets look at what happened here. We just wasted the #2 pick on a player we didn't really need, who clearly doesn't have that much value that we could trade for Burke at 9 and other assets. All advanced analytic show that Oladipo has numbers of what normally equates to a back-up SG on a decent team. He brings nothing to the table that Harkless (Who is BIGGER and YOUNGER) brings to the table and will take minutes from him.

Where do we play him? Behind Afflalo? He needs a lot of time just to perhaps get better, so we shift AA to 3 and play him at two and Harkless and Jones, two prospects that have proved that they can play, get buried or get limited minutes? Doron Lamb showed some progress in the little time we have him, and is now buried behind Hark/Oladipo/AA at the 2, so do we work on making Lamb a 1? What about E'twaun Moore? Is he the new back-up one or buried in the new logjam at 2?

Does this basically make Marcus Smart our 2014 high pick target? Or if we get 1 will we just try to sell Wiggins to the highest bidder? Or take him and bench Oladipo or try to trade him? Will his stock even stay as high at it is that he will actually be worth something?

Too many questions going forward with Oladipo and our roster. Would have been much safer to have just taken Noel and let him sit.

Flip Saunders ‏@Flip_Saunders 11m

I know many #twolves disappointed. We will be ok and time will show that are picks will produce. They are physically ready.

Way to go Minny.

Dude just wait and see what Henny does with free agency lol. Jesus. He has a lot of decisions to make, people to cut, people to trade, etc.

The one thing I do hate the MOST is Doron Lamb being at the same position Dipo is......Lamb deserves a shot man.

We didn't take a PG....Lamb can run an offense like a PG from his past, but he won't last there IMO.

I know from talking with Lamb that he is workin his behind off & ready to prove A TON of folks wrong tho.

Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

It's always safer to go with the big man recovering from ACL surgery.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

He will get the chance in summer league and training camp I have a feeling Affalo will not be around long then if he earns minutes he will get them

Lol can you see what he turns affalo into before declaring him Otis 2.0 dude I love people getting all pissed cause he didn't do what YOU wanted him to do lets put it this way you and me are sitting on a forum while he makes millions of dollars for a reason

Does anyone else find it funny that the 76ers have two Centers that the Magic passed up on over knee issues? They gave up a lot for both of them as well lol!

Yeah I have a feeling that Afflalo will be gone soon too. I'd love for Doron to become the backup SG and I definitely
think he'll have that chance. One of the things I look forward to most next season actually is seeing how he develops, so I have high hopes for him.

I aint worrying about it once Oladipo goes to work and plays great these ass holes will crawl back to where they came from and not own any of their comments the exact same people said the same about Nicholson and eventually Tobias
