Woj is the new Bucher. Shams is the new Woj. Espn is the new TMZ. The NBA is the new WWE.

You'd be satisfied with the Grizzlies? Not me

they had a chance to go to the NBA finals last year, yes I would take having a team that can get that far. they made a stupid trade when they moved calderon for prince and gave away wayne ellington. I notice you said nothing about the pacers or rockets tho
aol4532 on bill russell
I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

Really? I think OKC says no but the Wolves would easily say yes.

Well the Pacers found a superstar in the draft, if we have one please point him out. You can gamble on the idea of Oladipo or Harris being one, but I'd rather not take my chances. Do you really think we're just a piece away from competing with Miami or Indiana? I don't, and I'd rather continue building young players whilst our core is still young itself. Why is it we can only do one method on improving? You're wanting the free agency/trade route, I'm wanting both that and draft.

Actually, it was the Wolves I was thinking about when I said that. I think OKC is the one team that would strongly consider it. Especially since they get a great player in Afflalo.

I wouldn't gamble on Harris but I have no problem gambling on Oladipo. Of course there isn't a statistical case to be made in support of Oladipo in this early going as his efficiency has pretty much been atrocious, but even with poor efficiency he has taken over games and been an impact player. I like him, he's got that explosive feel to him.

Honestly I don't blame the camp that thinks we are still searching for our franchise player, no evidence to say we aren't. I just think that Henigan thinks that Oladiopo is that guy. Henigan is another guy I'd gamble on.

Well whether Oladipo is or not, there is always room for more. This isn't our year, so I have no problem gambling in the lottery just like we're gambling on the possibility of making the playoffs, or worse barley missing it and end up with the 10th pick if we're lucky.

If we have two lottery picks in 2014, one being from Den/NYK, I'd like to see this, (for example if Magic had 5th and 12th picks)

Smart(5th pick)/Hinrich FA 2 yr deal
Oladipo/Afflalo
Harkless/LeBryan Nash(2nd rd pick)
Harris/Nicholson
Vucevic/Cauley-Stein(12th pick)

That sure looks like a 8th seed 1 and done for years squad :P

Smart could probably be taken closer to 12th.

No thanks to WCS, he just screams bust to me.

I still say Exum would be the perfect fit next to Oladipo. If we have a game against a tall backcourt they could just switch and guard each other's positions. Kid is the second coming of Penny, he should be here :)

I think this trade benefits both teams:

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=mzvhd8n

OKC is in win now mode and they need a post presence to go with Ibaka in their front court! Plus they can bring Affalo off the bench if need to strengthen their 2nd unit.

Adams give us more potential at the 5 with his athletic ability and toughness. We also get OKC 2014 draft pick!
