I did too.

I still have no idea why I fell for that.

The same reason everybody else fell for it. We were really desperate for good news.

like last year with the rumored Zbo deal :-?

lol, half the crap you hear is made up.

I think we need to make a deal either way. Because not only do I not think our roster can go very far as is, but I'm just tired of seeing guys like Hedo and Duhon. I feel like this team needs new blood, I grew sick of this core in the playoffs last year and it is pretty much the same except we have BBD instead of Bass and no Arenas. As a fan, I'm just ready for new faces.

I'd do Tyreke for Anderson.

Sort of surprised no rumors have sprouted up yet with AS weekend being here. Maybe I'm looking too much into it, I guess a lot of GMs are just home hanging out with their families right now though.

It'll blow up next week. As soon as March 1st rolls around.

Kyler has done this before. Although his tweets aren't super cryptive . Last time he said help is on the way for the Lakers and it was just arenas working out for the Lakers which he was right about. With the hints he has given it will just be " Dwight and deron have seriously discusses the chances of being together either in Dallas or in the Lakers" probably non news.

If we can't get Stephen Jackson I guess Nash would be OK. Nash did say yesterday he will not request a trade but would be cool with it if the Suns moved him.

I just want to be the first person to post whatever happens to Dwight. So I'll stay with this thread till the end.

So. . .how may people here think Dwight actually already knows what he's going to do and how many people think he has no clue what he wants?

If we can acquire Nash while retaining Ryno (and maybe Jameer as his back-up), it will be a great move for the Magic. The reasoning behind keeping Meer is b/c Nash's minutes would have to be limited (at least in the reg. season) due to his health, age, etc. He'll need an adequate back-up. Plus I think having Meer coming in off the bench to score in bunches would give us a great PG tandem.

I mean I dread the day if we get Nash and he suffers an injury that sets him back for a long time. We've seen a sample size of Duhon getting starters minutes....not an idea that sits well with anyone up here I'm sure.

J-Rich needs to kick rocks.....Too inconsistent and virtually brings nothing to the table that Redick can't emulate

I think Dwight does not know which way he prefers to go.

BS suggested today to David Stern in an interview that the Magic should get a top 5 lotto pick from the NBA in compensation for losing Dwight. And we all thought he was an idiot...

I think he is torn. Part of him wants to be there with D-Will when the NBA comes to Brooklyn, but another part of him loves Orlando and is skeptical of leaving behind what he started. We'll just have to see. I think he'll ultimately leave if we don't trade him because I see him getting frustrated with a playoff loss with this team.

I think he's conflicted. Wants to stay because he's comfortable and wants to leave because he wants something new and play with another all star.

If he leaves for the Nets they'll be in 3rd place in the East next season come AS break. But I guess he'll be happy?
