Yes, TOR in 2013 and Mavericks.

Nelson

Still needs some moves to become a balanced roster. 5 PFs, 4 SGs ..

6 PFs, you forgot Harper.

probably should just cut Turk(i mean we cant have over 15 players on the roster and with harper it would be that way). we need to somehow get a couple of PGs instead of them 6pfs even though harpers probably better at SF.

I want to get Donatas Motiejunas in the trade instead of Ross
And just because he was one of my favorite players and had high hopes before the injury I want Livingston on this team too.

BBD is a leader with heart. He can play PF and Center better than anyone else on the Magic or they will have while on a cheap salary. Plus, he is training hard to improve. It would be stupid to give him away when the Magic don't need to.

crazy thought of the day: Wouldn't it be hilarious if we did this and then Dwight resigned with Orlando next summer. All those bad contracts gone, tons of picks and salary cap and Dwight back, rofl.

Now that would make for some craaaaaaaaaazy ish. I bet Stern would block his signing, haha.

i'd start him at center tbh. he can hold his own there and play well and it'll free up more pt at the 4 for nicholson.

Yeh, I agree. Would much rather include Turk in that deal. BBD wants to be here, he wants to lead. He can be very productive at C spot (O'Quinn and Ayon aren't ready to play 30+min per game in the NBA I don't think). His contract is not bad at all for a productive big.

He did a few days ago.

TheThief apparently built up his eCred by saying he was in the NBDL, but TheGlyde (who also is sorely missed) blew holes in his facade and TheThief never returned.

That's what I thought at first, but then if you look at your ordering, it's pretty obvious that you did it based on priority of playing time (at least in every other position but that as you claim?). Whatever....just saying, I've seen a lot of people talk about KMart as if he is some scrub. He would easily lead the team in scoring I think.

If we do get all those PFs though, obviously SOMETHING needs to budge.....need more depth at PG/C.

They do but the Dallas pick is top-20 protected through 2017 and unprotected in 2018.

Donatas can only be traded in August 3rd, it's very unlikely they will wait until this date to pull the trigger.

YosemiteSam wrote:Here's why I hope that the rumored Houston trade goes down....

Dwight's SUPPOSED whole issue is that the Magic have surrounded him with inferior talent on long, bad contracts and he needs to get out to compete.

Now we might be granting his wish, but we're sending those SAME crappy contracts/players with him to his new destination - almost ALL of them. Now he'll be in a new location with basically the SAME players he was frustrated with on the Magic.

Now that's freakin' karma

  :rofl2:  :rocking:

LOL!

I think J-Rich and BBD are good players but Dwight does not get what he wants with this deal at all.

I'm surprised there hasn't been much talk of getting Toney Douglas. Would be a serviceable backup PG on an expiring contract.
