@SportsWhispers
Breaking: #Warriors have deals in place to send contracts of Biedrins,R.Jefferson & A.Bogut. This way, Dwight Howard can sign there outright

If he knew I'm sure he would have. I just asked him and Kennedy on twitter if they knew who the teams were. I doubt we are one of them but you never know

I am so glad that Sheridan sued him and forced him to settle or lose in court. He is such a douche.

Can't combine tpe's with anything else. Coon said it plainly here as well and on his site.

Teams receive trade exceptions when they trade one player and take back less salary than they send away. Teams don't get a trade exception when they send players together, although it's often possible to reconfigure a multiplayer trade as separate, parallel single-player trades in order to gain trade exceptions. Trade exceptions can't be combined with anything -- even other trade exceptions.

They could be leaking it to try and force the Lakers hand as well.
Though I have no doubts they can get rid of all three.

i wish we could find someone to take BBD off our hands . Afflalo and Jameer should be easy to get rid of but BBD might be tough

based on what i have read u can not combine Trade player exceptions with Mid-level exceptions and so on. it did not say u can not combine 2 different Tpes together when making a trade for 2 players ala Jefferson and Biedrins.

Per Larry Coons CBA facts section 86:

If a team has two trade exceptions from previous non-simultaneous trades, they can't combine them into one larger trade exception. Suppose a team trades a $5 million player for a $4 million player (generating a $1 million trade exception) and separately trades a $3 million player for a $1 million player (generating a $2 million trade exception). They cannot combine the two into a single $3 million trade exception. A rule of thumb is that a trade exception can only be used to acquire a player making up to the amount of the exception plus $100,000.

I could be misinterpreting it, but I am pretty sure you could not combine them to make that trade.
i played with Trade checker on this site to see if it would work.

we could acquire both Biedrins, jefferson, Machado(nice young PG) for Harrington or we could get a 3rd team to take Harrington or trade him to them and they waive him.

They must really feel good about their chances to get him or got some info that he's seriously considering them.

I keep tellin' people...Miami would love to have him. I would be more surprised if BBD isn't on the Heat than if he is still with us. The deal just makes too much sense and is too easy...

Miami trades Philly's 2014 First Round Pick + Joel Anthony + Filler for BBD

It'll get done.

To do that trade you would have to slot Jefferson and Machado into the Dwight TPE (which would leave us with around an 6 million TPE) as one transaction then trade Harrington for Jefferson straight up.

If the Magic were serious about running Oladipo at point guard, and we could pull off a deal with GS and get Thompson back...

Oladipo/Nelson/Moore
Thompson/Lamb
Harris/Harkless/Jefferson
Davis/Nicholson/Osby
Vucevic/Bogut/O'Quinn

Decent team to build around

The Thunder loved Lamb so much that they went to Toronto for Derozan... Man, was that a terrible way to lose Harden.

Why would Miami want him? He isn't a rim protector, and he is not really a great rebounder. He would fill the same role that Haslem already fills and that isn't really worth a first to them. Whose minutes would he take? Definitely not Birdman or Bosh. He's not versatile enough to take battier out as PF. What would they do with him?

More realistic: Davis/Afflalo for Bogut/Jefferson/Biedrins/Barnes

Curry/Thompson/Afflalo/Lee/Howard

Nelson/Oladipo/Barnes/Harris/Vucevic

Return to Orlando Magic
