Yeah, we give up a lot, but we get 2 perennial all-stars, clear a bit of cap space, and get a fresh start. We also trade Ryno while his value is high.
Boston gets the guy they want and a PG more than capable of running the show. Blake is on a great contract for the production that he gives, and Ryno would let Rivers open the floor when Garnett needs a breather.
Lakers trade 2 elite bigs and get Bass to compliment MVP candidate Dwight in the middle. Nelson is also a slight upgrade (albeit at twice the salary) to Blake. Lakers enter midseason with 4 former all-stars and 2 current ones in their SL.
