Lets not gloat and get all cocky, we still have our own big problem to deal with...

But I feel a LOT better about the whole situation. Never wanted to trade Dwight, let alone trade him to the Nets.

The Nets now have literally nothing to trade for Dwight. I doubt D-Will resigns this offseason too.

Not if Kendall Marshal is on the board at 11 for them.

same

No way they move it. They have no PG for one, and little to no talent on the rest of the roster outside LA and Batum.

They could trade Batum and pick up Barnes if the Kings don't take him, make a move for Drummond with the 6th, or go with Lamb. Then with the 11th pick up Lillard or Kendall Marshall.

You're looking at some possibilities here of:

Lillard/Marshall
Matthews/Lamb
Batum/Barnes
LA
Drummond/Pryz

Realistically, what do we trade Howard for if we trade him?

Is Bynum our last option?

:)

Skrew Prokhorov!

Now, I can see Cleveland moving that pick. Possibly the 3-way with Orl-Cle-LAL picks up steam. Other than that, can't see any team in the top 5 helping facilitate a deal for Dwight Howard.

Possibly Golden State with the 7th pick could "rent" Dwight. Wait, they have Bogut now.. Nevermind.

They were drunk on Russian vodka or something when they made that deal. That's pretty much the only explanation for trading a top 6 pick for Gerald Wallace.

Assuming logic has anything to do with what the nets were thinking, the best I can come up with is that Orlando was looking to make a play for Wallace and they wanted to block that from happening

I think the Blazers go with Lillard too, especially if Marshall isn't working out for teams. I also hope Beal falls to them.

Stern was smart to turn down that Lakers trade. Now the Hornets can buld with Davis, Gordon, the #10 pick and cap space.

Let's not give Stern credit for that :D... it was the owners who complained and practically forced Stern to veto it  ... Dan and Cuban's complaints/letters pretty much hit the nail on the head of what was going on... Stern was hooking the Lakers up... New Orleans was going to get screwed over... I'm happy for New Orleans.
