The Nets were soo bad that nobody cared to play hard against them. They had the worst record in the league one year with Lopez as there best player. If he was even borderline star, how does your team end up with the worst record in the league. That was the year they thought they were lock to get the first pick and take John Wall but ended up Favors.

You're gain showing your ignorance of Lopez and have never seen him play.

The 2010 Nets were lead by Devin Harris. Lopez was in his second year in the NBA and still learning the game. You really put blame on him for not winning with a joke of a team his second year?

Dude Im a die hard Knicks fan. I have seen at least 3-4 Knicks-Nets games at the Garden and Prudential Center with Lopez playing. The guy is soo overrated, to be considered as a primary piece in a trade for Dwight Howard who is once a generation player is comical.

Josh Robbins ‏@JoshuaBRobbins
Redick will remain under contract w/the #Orlando #Magic for about $6.1 million. He could still be traded at some point.

Lost in all this news today is that the Magic have not waived and will not waive @JJRedick before the 11:59 p.m. deadline.

I agree, Nets fans are on crack if they think anything they can send Orlando is fair value. But Dwight backed Orlando into a corner and he and his people are doing everything possible to force their way to Brooklyn. It sucks!

we can always somehow find a team that could use a Center. Maybe we can ship him to the rockets if the bulls match that offer 8-)

Good luck selling that to the fans. "

"Hey we know we traded dwight howard for this guy, but we are trading him away this year for some draft picks...."

Also, as a GM, would Henny agree to give up on lopez that quickly?

i think if Henny is committed to Rebuilding the team he might cuz it doesnt make sense for a rebuilding team to have a Huge Max salary guy. maybe make this trade into a 4 way deal with Us Getting Dirk 2.0 and a 1st for him or even just dirk 2.0.

so in essence we would get Dirk 2.0 and a Bunch of Draft picks for Dwight and the trash

if a draft has a great center, really really good one, you draft him and figure it out later.

Greg Oden says Hi!

like i said, you figure it out later.

who said Lopez was a star? anyone? i havent heard anyone call him a star? i call him a good, offensive center at 24.

What about John Wall? is he a star? how did washington do so bad? I guess Demarcus Cousins is horrible too. His team was bad too. Kevin Love's team only won 26 games, he must be a horrible player. How bad must Kyrie Irving be to lead Cleveland to only 21 wins.......

So a team should trade a superstar dominant center who is the best defensive big man in the game for a good player who probably has maxed out his talent at 24, doesnt rebound, and plays soft defense. On top of that, you probably have to overpay Lopez to make the numbers work. Thats great for business.
