Rumor on GSW board is Utah is willing to take Jefferson and Biedrins if they include Barnes. GS is only offering 2 1st rounders (2014 & 2016).

If GS clears decks and makes room, he is going there. If not, Houston is the target.
I just don't see him returning to LA and if Kobe said to him what was reported, no way he goes back. He can't handle that kind of pressure and is too immature to see that it would help him in the long run.

What would they be forcing the Lakers into? The Lakers have no reason to do a sign and trade. If Dwight leaves, everyone not named Nash is expiring this year anyways and they think they can get LeBron next summer. Any contract they take back for Dwight costs double because of the tax. If the let Dwight walk, they can easily be under the tax line by amnestying MwP (or Kobe) and just playing around with their own expiring contracts in February. The Lakers would be dumb to agree to a sign and trade.

We could, but it depends on what GS does. Otis isnt here any longer so they probably don't come to us first

agree. I thought the sticking point was they didn't want to give up Barnes, Thompson, or Curry. They may get a S&T from LA if they are willing to give up a youngster.

Agreed... I love Thompson and would love him on this team. Only thing is we just drafted Oladipo. If we were serious about running Victor at PG then I'd gladly take Thompson. Perfect compliment to Oladipo in the backcourt. And we could also have Harris play Point Forward and help Oladipo out

Why do people want Barnes so much when we have Harris, Harkless and the plan to tank for Wiggins or Parker?

Trade asset. And he could very well turn out better than Harris/Harkless.

The trade that Nyce linked wouldnt work with the TPE in any case, but yes, you can fit however many players into the TPE as you want as long as their combined salary is the TPE + 100k or less.
