Jackson/Payton

Gordon/Rudez
Biyombo/Zimmerman

That is kind of similar to Vogel's original Pacers team, at least with Ross in a Lance Stephenson scoring role and Biyombo the big rim protector. I'd like to see that roster, if only we could get George and not lose this years 1st round pick!

Serious LOLs to anyone who thinks we are landing Paul George before the trade deadline.

I actually think it happens, just don't want Aaron Gordon or this years 1st round pick in the deal. Vucevic, Fournier, Clippers pick and Lakers pick. trade for Jackson, tank for top 5 pick and the roster I posted is the core

Jackson/Payton
Ross
George
Gordon
Biyombo

That's a playoff team in my opinion.....

we need to trade Gordon while people may still think he is a good player and more than a role playing, borderline starter

Even if we get PG? Man I'd trade that lottery in a minute if we got Jackson and PG.

If we made a push for Butler or PG, I think we'd have a pretty enticing offer which could rival Boston.

BOS assets:
Crawford, Bradley, Smart, Rozier, Olynyk, BKN picks

ORL assets:
Vuc, Fournier, AG, Payton, our pick/s, Toronto pick

Gotta imagine either CHI or IND will want at least 2 players plus a pick. Vuc/Fournier plus AG plus pick.

Boston seems like they're being stingy on the picks, so I'd imagine we'd need to offer a top 3 protected pick this season and unprotected next season.

The kid still has a lot more room to grow, so I wouldn't want to give him up unless we're getting a star back.

But guaranteed the moment we give him up everyone will suddenly start to appreciate him, because the only way this fan base supports its players is if they're in another uniform, or if they're an overhyped fool's gold C.

he hasnt done anything really, except compete in a dunk contest, to even be an average starter. yet many in the fan base here think he will be a great player and wouldnt trade him for anything other than a star.

reminds me a lot of MKG in Charlotte. They have been signing his praise for years and he is still not even an average starting player because of his deficiencies. And he is a hard worker too, get tired of hearing that AG is a hard worker so he will get better. Plenty of former players that were hard workers that just didnt develop those skills

Oh come on now, he's only 21 years old, he's not even close to a finished product. The Magic would be insane to trade him for anything other than a star player.

not a single team would trade a star player for a package headlined by him. The only people that see him as a potential star are some Magic fans.

He has shown an awful lot of potential. People tend to forget that he is only 21. He hasn't even grown into his body. He needs to play PF not SF. I can not give up on him yet. Not until he is used the right way.

Now I can't get Terrence Jones out of my head when anyone mentions AG.

Stats:

TJ vs. AG

11.5ppg vs 11.2ppg. 5.9 rpg vs. 4.6rpg.
47.3% vs. 42.8%. 3s- 25.3% vs. 29.2%

This year:

T Jones has:

1 30+ point game
5 20-29 point games
22 10-19 point games
23 0-9 point game

AG has:

2 30+ point games
4 20+ point games
22 10-19 point games
28 0-9 point games

Go back further and their numbers are basically the same.

We need to be cognizant that we do not need organic growth from AG, we need a massive jump in production over the summer and into next season at the latest.

Return to Orlando Magic
