It doesn't matter that Dwight is probably twice as valuable as Carmelo, GMs are looking at that trade where NYK "gutted their team" and are about the same as they were before the trade. NBA GMs are pretty bad like their counterparts in other professional sports and really don't understand how valuable superstar players are. What would Dwight be making on the open market? If there were a salary cap but every player was a free agent every year, somebody would pay Dwight 40m a year and try to build a team of low-priced shooters around him. This team may not win the championship but it's going to be pretty good because Dwight is a playoff team by himself.

You guys have a really good board and a generally good sense of the value of players. I see a lot of trades that don't recognize how awful the contracts of Turk, FFD (much better than BBD imo), and Nelson are, but that's pretty standard, everyone on the Bulls board wants to trade Boozer for Gasol. You guys are pretty good.

You ever want to come on over to the dark side... we'll welcome you with to the blue and white.

GS > NJ

u forgot marshon brooks and the nets taking back turkoglu. also they will have a top 10 pick this year w/without dwight.

brooks will be a more complete sg than ellis in the near future.

Right now without Dwight, they're (NJ) on par for the 7th/8th overall pick... So add Dwight to that, and we probably end up with the 13-15th pick..... Im not sold on Brooks yet, he plays like a 2008 Vince Carter, slow fadaway jumpshot-shooter with average athleticism.

I consider myself a pretty big gamer, but I'm not a huge fan of RPGs... but most of my friends don't like ME3... for a variety of reasons I don't understand.

The game itself is good. An improved version of ME2. The story is pretty good up until the last 20 minutes or so, but then it gets blown up to the heavens.

I think the meeting with Martins and Dwight (from the Josh Robbins OS article today that was posted a few pages back) might have shed some light on what the Magic ends up doing.

I am with you. Alex has to know which way Dwight is leaning by now, he has to. I am assuming D12 told them that he wants to go through FA and that ORL is still a big possiablity, but he is not going to commit to anyone. So what do you do with that. I think that is what has happend and why Alex said they still have not made a decision.

Reviews have given Mass Effect 3 a really high rating but I think that has more to do with the gameplay and fun factor rather than the actual story itself and its conclusion. You have a 360 right, what's your gamertag? I plan on starting up another 2k league since I'm getting the itch again to get back on NBA 2K12... 8-)

I honestly don't care how bad the ending of Mass Effect 3 is. It won't change how much I love the series. I am playing through Mass Effect 3 right now. Mass Effect is my favorite game series of all time.
Not changing this Sig until the Orlando Magic win a championship (Technically Started 1-30-08)
