Let the Draft Games Begin – Oladipo Rises, McLemore Slides
http://www.sheridanhoops.com/

We are just weeks away from the 2013 NBA draft. It is June and now the pre-draft workouts go into full swing.

Within the lottery, the big news is that Orlando has pushed Victor Oladipo ahead of Ben McLemore on its draft board. McLemore has yet to formally hire an agent and has been questioned about his ties to Rodney Blackstock.

Interesting idea, kind of small, and McCollum is not a true PG. But I could see it working, since both are decent size for combo guards, who's skills complement each other.

Oladipo over McLemore is an easy call.

lol and what will you think next time chad ford/mocks switches it up and think oladipo won't go till 5-6 lol?

Saying it's easy to judge between the going with a consensus top 3 guy vs a guy who has been predicted anywhere from 4-8 is just dumb. These mocks change daily and so do the peoples opinions on how they will translate into an NBA player.

We can tell you are on team O but the decision is far from easy lol

If it was an easy call, then Oladipo would be an unquestionable top 2 pick. He's not, so it's not an easy call.

me too, they contrast being that Cj is a shooter and dipo is a defender and attacker. Cj is also not great defensively and neither is Mclemore so them in the backcourt together would be nice offensively but I'm not sure defensively

So... we are just telling people what our draft board looks like? Somehow I doubt that's the case.

Someone getting off on a little mock draft shuffle? haha, I just saw oladipo at 7 on bleacher report today and we have Sheridan trying to drum up a story about Ben's ties to no agent.

Yeah, it's the boring time between Finals and draft... gotta stir up some BS. Clearly Ben will have an agent by draft night, seems a dumb reason not to draft him. Also leaking Dipo as our preference might be a smokescreen to convince the teams at 4-5 they have a shot at McLemore without needing to trade up thus assuring Ben is there at 2. You never know.

LOL. I've been preaching this way before Chad Ford came out with his mock 4.0. Gimme a break.

I've been consistent on this since the beginning regardless of how the draftniks keep changing their minds.

I don't know if you're already writing off PJII's career or not, but if you're instead talking about how he fell in the draft... well, was that really a surprise? By most accounts, he went in the range people thought. Just at the lower end of the range.

Oladipo over McLemore is an easy call. Sooner or later people will realize it. It's fine if you're hesitant to believe it.

Just because you don't agree with scouts doesn't mean you think you're better than them. Besides, they give us plenty of reasons year in and year out to doubt them. Stop acting like they are always right. I can't stand when people follow these talking heads like sheep. I respect people more when they have a mind of their own.

Where is the crowd here that was pumping up Archie Goodwin when scouts had him in the top 5??? F'n joke. Like seriously people were talking about how we should take him with our Top 3 pick. Now? You won't find those guys anywhere. That's why people need to think for themselves instead of following these mock drafts like sheep.
