Boston tanking affects us in no way. If they're in the lottery next season, someone who was this year isn't. It's not like all of a sudden there's gonna be 15 teams in the lottery, so it hurts our chances at the number 1 pick...

With all this talk about Noel progressing well I think it'll be either BMac or Noel, or trading down to get burke since in no way shape or form is even close to a #2 pick.

Hearing same RT @KyleTucker_CJ: Noel was in Cleveland last week and said the Cavs' team doc told him "everything was perfect" with his knee.

Obviously, there will be a stronger competition to have the worst record in the league.

Are we gonna try to dump all our vets for picks ? I would think we could get something good for Jameer who has a team option for next year

The question is what is the name of the team willing to give a draft pick for a veteran? And If I had a chance I would trade BBD not Jameer...

Personally, that is the (Noel/Ledo) combo is the one i want if Bledsoe for Afflalo is a done deal.

why not Jamaal Franklin? He was the focal of his teams offense, but was a good passer and good defender that can also defend PG/SG/SF easily. Insane wingspan at 6'11

Because my main concern would not be about our SG having to defend. The main problem with Bledsoe being your main PG would be his issues actually being a "PG". Ball handling, shooting, passing and generally his basketball IQ.

You would need a SG that is adept at ball handling , creating offense and shooting. There are very few in the draft that possess most all of those traits. Ledo is one of the few.

Between Ricky Ledo and Doron Lamb, it would allow you to run more efficiently.

The competition would be the same... 14 teams trying to 'win' the lottery...

thats why i mentioned Franklin.

Playing as San Diego State's primary playmaker and shot-creator, Franklin carried a large load for the Aztecs as a junior, and he displayed tremendous versatility, leading the team in scoring, assists, rebounds, and steals per game

While Franklin's scoring numbers took a slight dip as a junior, he did show quite a bit of improvement in his ability to create for others, as his assists jumped from 1.9 to 4.1 per-40 minutes, which ranks him towards the top of the wing prospects in this draft class. His vision and awareness looked much better on dribble penetration, and he did a nice job of kicking to the open man

I just don't see the offensive creativity or ball handling when watching him play. His shooting is also bad IMO. Just not a very efficient or good shooter, don't see him as a good passer, yeah his APG was good for a SG, But that is just a direct effect of his crazy high usage rate.

I know his scouting report says otherwise, but I every game I saw, what I was watching wasn't matching up to them. I like him as a player, just not with the backcourt combo we are supposedly about to have.

Just doesn't look like a good fit skillset wise in a mix with a Eric Bledsoe a PG and having Moe getting some SG mins too. Too much replication.

You are kidding right?!? Dont know if serious... :|

What you are saying would be true if all lottery teams had equal chance to win the lottery. But obviously the more teams who are bottoming out will be the difference between out 25-57 record getting us the best chance to win the lottery or it getting us the 2nd, 3rd, 4th best chance etc...
