Yeah, even if we somehow managed the worst record again, there's no gurantee we get the first pick (see this year). But if we could land Smart or Parker or Randall.

My question is once we do have some cap room (next year?), which free agents will we be targeting? I mean, Lebron's not coming here...so who will be available that we would target?

I would love to target Larry Sanders if the Bucks dont extend him. He is an unrestricted free agent. A defensive force center that blocked almost 3 shots a game last year, he would fit great next to Vucevic.
an excellent idea
then we just need to sign/draft a younger PG as well

I don't think this has been mentioned on here yet, but in case people were wondering Osby has picked to wear #24 which was his college number as well. Also he will be here for the press conference today.

Mike Houck ‏@mhouckOU
Osby said he selected jersey No. 24. Will fly to Orlando with wife and daughter tomorrow for press conference. #Sooners

No chance the Magic get Wiggins now. There are teams out there that are flat out horrible now in Philly, Boston and Charlotte. Probably more than that, but Magic most likely are drafting around picks 8-12 at this rate. All depends on Free Agency and trades.

Well, i dont know man. Sure we'll be better. But if we move at least BBD i do think we still good for top 5.

Bbd was the only reason why we had this many wins. When we went down, from playoffteam to worst record hahaha

I feel pretty confident we'll be in bottom five this year. But as long as we are fun to watch, I'm absolutely fine with it.

After 2014 draft though, we better be ready to kick ass and take names.

No matter how many games we lose this season, I'm going to watch every single minute of every game. Can't wait to see the future growth of our young core of Tobes, Oladipo, Harkless, and Vuc.

It's still a lottery, and 5th worst has historically won #1 more than any other spot, which really cements how much of a lottery it is.

With Phoenix taking Len, I could see them trading Gortat this summer to a team like Portland.

POR: Gortat
PHO: Afflalo + Nicholson
ORL: CJ + Withey

to me either way there are three FRANCHISE players in that draft. we have a great shot at getting top three still, so i'm still optimistic about our chances.

I see us having worse records than Boston, Phoenix, Philly, and Sacramento. Hell, even Charlotte.

I have no doubt we're still gonna be bad. I expect Jameer to be the only vet standing by the end of next season.

they could be. i think people around here are really overrating the young guys. they are great and have tons of potential, but they still need time to develop and put it together. i see this team at about 25 wins next year. if boston keeps rondo and gwallace i think we'll be worse than them. philly just completely blew it up so idk. i honestly think we'll finish third worst behind the bobcats and sixers. but i'm sure rob has a plan and knows whats at stake next year. which is why i think affalalo and bbd are gone before the season starts.

It will be very tough to be in bottom 5 if Jameer, Baby and AA play all year.

Ive got to be honest.. Im a bit disapointed. I like Oladipo alot. He was 3rd on my board, I would have prefered B-Mac because of what he could bring on offense but Im fine with the pick itself. I think he will be a solid player. I just think Henny let a shot to get Burke or McCollum slip away. To me once it was clear that they were going to slip to 9 and 10 you gotta hit the phones. And maybe he did but you gotta be aggressive. I was expecting some fireworks since we had some trade pieces and we have the trade exception. Are we going to use that or not? I dunno if we could have convinced The Blazers to trade with us but I feel like we should have been able to outbid Utah. I just feel like we had a real shot to get Burke/McCollum with Oladipo and I feel like we let it slip. I just don't get it. Im happy to have Oladipo on board and I hope he makes me look dumb for having Ben ahead of him.

Boston are playing with a line up of: Olynyk/Bass/Wallace/Bradley/? until Rondo comes back. They will be turrible.

Philly is playing without Bynum or Noel until either step foot on the court. Thad/Turner/MCW won't win you many games.

Phoenix is playing with Gortat/Morris/Dudley/Johnson?/Dragic. They'll be just as bad as last year.

Sacto could be improved. They could also be forced into trading DMC.

Charlotte could be improved. I actually like a Biyombo/Zeller combo. Defense and offense, crashed boards. MKG surely should improve. Kemba is really hitting stride.

If we start with AA and BBD again, we'll start hard. If not, i think our young guys were really finding form at the end of last season. Vuc and Harris could carry an offense (although, Vuc needs to show he can defend). Harkless will have had an offseason to improve his shooting. Dipo is a massive x factor. I think we could still be very bad, but we could also be Raptors good.

I don't agree, we are not a better team than we were last year. We are trading AA and hopefully BB. whats to stop us from being the bottom 4 team and as long as we are that low we have a very decent chance of getting the #1 pick.

Odds are we have just as many injuries as last year, don't see how we've improved. We're bottom 3 team in the league right now. Obviously there is summer and free agency and stuff, but don't think Henny is doing anything.

I wasn't an Oladipo guy, I wanted Burke or McCollum. So I was a little disappointed. But I'm not going to hate on him or the draft. It was entertaining as hell, and Oladipo should at least give us some good highlight reel moments. I'm curious to see what he does with the tpe in the coming month to add more assets, and hope we stay bad enough for a top 5 pick next year.
