Boston are playing with a line up of: Olynyk/Bass/Wallace/Bradley/? until Rondo comes back. They will be turrible.

Philly is playing without Bynum or Noel until either step foot on the court. Thad/Turner/MCW won't win you many games.

Phoenix is playing with Gortat/Morris/Dudley/Johnson?/Dragic. They'll be just as bad as last year.

Sacto could be improved. They could also be forced into trading DMC.

Charlotte could be improved. I actually like a Biyombo/Zeller combo. Defense and offense, crashed boards. MKG surely should improve. Kemba is really hitting stride.

If we start with AA and BBD again, we'll start hard. If not, i think our young guys were really finding form at the end of last season. Vuc and Harris could carry an offense (although, Vuc needs to show he can defend). Harkless will have had an offseason to improve his shooting. Dipo is a massive x factor. I think we could still be very bad, but we could also be Raptors good.

Yea, Boston may be the worst record-wise.
Philly didn't have Bynum all of last year either. While they Lost Jrue, I still think they'll win more games than us.
Phoenix is still the same group as last, so they'll win more games than us.
Sacto and Bobcats have improved, so their records will be better than ours.

Reconsidering, we'll probably be one of the top 2 worst teams in the league (with Boston maybe being 1, although when Rondo comes back, they'll definitely be better than us).

He was 3rd on my board, I would have prefered B-Mac because of what he could bring on offense but Im fine with the pick itself. I think he will be a solid player. I just think Henny let a shot to get Burke or McCollum slip away. To me once it was clear that they were going to slip to 9 and 10 you gotta hit the phones. And maybe he did but you gotta be aggressive. I was expecting some fireworks since we had some trade pieces and we have the trade exception. Are we going to use that or not? I dunno if we could have convinced The Blazers to trade with us but I feel like we should have been able to outbid Utah. I just feel like we had a real shot to get Burke/McCollum with Oladipo and I feel like we let it slip. I just don't get it. Im happy to have Oladipo on board and I hope he makes me look dumb for having Ben ahead of him.

I wasn't an Oladipo guy, I wanted Burke or McCollum. So I was a little disappointed. But I'm not going to hate on him or the draft. It was entertaining as hell, and Oladipo should at least give us some good highlight reel moments. I'm curious to see what he does with the tpe in the coming month to add more assets, and hope we stay bad enough for a top 5 pick next year.

I was a Burke guy. Burke was number 1 on my board. I was big on McCollum too. So to me we had a legitimate shot to get one of them while still keeping our number 2. When Burke and McCollum fell past the Pistons, Rob has gotta pick up the phone and get that done. If you look at what Minny got I feel like we could have out bid Utah for that pick. I’m not trying to be negative cause I’m ok with the pick, I just think we could have had a great night that could rival the 2004 draft when we got Dwight and Meer.

how do you know he didnt? And the teams said top-3 protected 2014 pick? would you rather Henny give that up? everyone knows next year's draft is loaded and thats what picks are being aimed for. I love how people automatically assume that any picks are up for grabs and easily attainable.

What could we offer Minnesota? Afflalo or Nicholson basically. We didnt have a second 1st rounder to trade or even valuable 2nd rounders. Is it possible that Henny approached them and they rejected Afflalo for that pick because he is older and on a heavier contract? Maybe they wanted draft picks this year for their pick. It's not like we had the 13th and 20th pick and got outbid.

I can't believe Myck Kabongo is going to be playing for the Miami HEAT summer league team. If they pick him up, then that's a huge steal.

I never said easliy attainable. I don't know that he didnt either. Im just looking at what other teams gave up to get picks and I feel we could have outbid them to get another pick. Obviously I wouldn't give up a 2014 unprotected pick for a late pick in this round but I dont see that as the asking price based on what deals I saw done. Thats all Im saying

How about a trade with Dallas to get the 13th pick. Use the exception to take a crap contract, give them our second round to make it work and boom we got another pick. Package that with AA and offer it to The Wolves for number 9. That right there is better value than they got.

you are talking value, and that is dependent on what someone is looking for. It doesnt look like Dallas was looking to dump a contract. They traded 13 for 16 and 2 2nd round picks. We didnt have that to give. They wanted a player, obviously a PG, not just to dump a contract. They see that there arent any FA's out there and have probably been told that Dwight doesnt want to sign in Dallas, so cap space isnt as important.
