I want Dejounte way more than Young

I agree but I have a feeling Atlanta would rather keep Dejounte for the same reasons.

The idea of getting IHart here intrigues me even more after this series. Really want to see the Magic get tougher at C.

Trae is significantly better than Dejounte, but Trae makes a lot more money and would require a much more significant overhaul in the Magic’s style of play.

I don’t think the front office is willing to make that move, even if what Young provides offensively is exactly what they lack.

Defense and or rebounds don’t seem like our problems.

Young would get destroyed on defense.

The idea is to sign the best players possible and make trades for what we need since what we need isn't available in FA this summer. It's basically like stowing your money away in a high-yield interest account until you're ready to pounce on something else in the not-so-distant future

No worse than Fultz and Cole already get destroyed on defense.

Only he’ll be able to make up for it on offense which those guys can’t do.

Shouldnt we all be guessing the real heights of the draft picks first?

So.... what's the likelihood that Fultz is back next year because I'm depressed that it's not zero?

It’s definitely not zero.

There’s a world where they do 1/10 for Fultz and 1/10 for Gary and literally just run it back with the exact same team minus Okeke/Goga (replace them with their 2024 1st and 2nd).

We've done the hard part in finding our superstar. Now it's time to build around him.

Magic is listed as one of the best places for James Harden. Anyone?

He could definitely elevate our guard play being the primary ball handler

I could see it from an on-court perspective. I doubt this FO wants him around our young core though.

Cole and Fultz are your bars? Come on, a healthy Fultz is much better on defense. I do agree with the question when is Fultz healthy. But Fultz length vs Trae on defense is a big difference in my eyes.

I’m ready for Fultz to move on so hopefully we don’t have to compare anyone to him.

I can’t see Harden as a fit for this front office.

George I could see.

Do you think our front office will believe in the "money ball" approach and offer Harden a chance to lead? Paul George is often injured though. You do not want a Grant Hill situation with Magic again. Harden is comparatively low risk and high reward gamble. Oh god, I hope we do not gamble 8-)
