A player who isn't getting minutes under Doug Christie in Sacramento is Keon Ellis. He has good size and could replace Tyus in the rotation.

Ellis only makes around $2.3m, and Tyus makes $7m, so they'd need to add salary to match. Maybe Dario Saric.

Ellis has only 3 pts in the last 2 games in 29 minutes. The Kings could be desperate for a move.

Ellis is a great defender and can knock down 3s. He's like Gary Harris on steroids.

Why on earth would they take Tyus?

Maybe they bite on Jett? LOL

Keon Ellis
Ochai Agbaji
Royce O'Neale
Jose Alvarado
Dillon Brooks

Some guys I would look to trade for if I am the Magic. Tyus+2nds for Keon Ellis would be the dream trade for me. Magic get another good 3+D wing next to AB and TDS off the bench.

Ochai would give the Magic an explosive wing with good size who is a good defender, finisher and shooter.

Royce O'Neale probably costs the most rn the way he has been playing but 13 ppg/6 rpg/4 apg/1.5 spg on 44% from three on 8.3 attempts he is like the prototype 3+D who can dribble, rebound, pass and shoot.

Jose for Tyus and 2nd would give the Magic a dog off the bench.

JI+Jett+2nds for Dillon Brooks would be also another good move to bolster the bench and he has experience with Bane.

Better yet, Goga for Saric and Ellis. Ellis could re-sign for starting salary around what Goga would get next season.

Isaac and Penda could pick up the backup center minutes.

Goga might be a better option for them. Keon has a big free agent summer coming up, and he'll likely want around a $7m starting contract.

The thing that scares me about Alvarado is that he is really small. We have a lot of small guards right now. I'd love to get Brooks or O'Neal.

Are they really sour on Bane? People on here are so quick to defend criticisms like we're talking about their kid or something. Anybody would be disappointed (none more than Bane himself) but pretending everything's going swimmingly two weeks after people are (equally ridiculously) calling for a 60 win season a year after dragging the league's worst offense to the play-in...that's silly.

I don't expect or want to trade Paolo or Suggs but it's a lot more interesting to discuss than checking in 5x per day to confirm that "everything's gonna be just swell".

lol.... i guess i was "misreading" the trade scenarios for bane as "souring".

How can we add Sexton? Does JI, Jett, and a 2nd get it done? Sexton is an expiring so not sure what value he truly has.

Maybe some here respond to bad performances with trade scenarios...for me, it's generally chemistry experiments and understanding that players we don't want aren't going to be highly valued elsewhere. The trade board is worthless when it starts with "Cole sucks, I want to trade him and bring in..."

Wanting to eject Isaac or Jett is fine, expecting to get a good player back without adding picks is silly. Discussing trading AB before his perceived value is dog***t is a more realistic concept.

"Let's trade Goga, Isaac, and Tyus and get a starting PG" is not reality. Bane is a really good player - if he can't be integrated into the offense-then the coach is failing or the GM AND the Coach have clung to this fantasy "twin hub, point forward, 6'10 ballhandlers" for too long and it's time to move on from one of them or get them to play differently. Bane should be making more decisions with the ball...that's why we traded the world for him. IF we just wanted a limited-defense, spot up shooter we could have signed Beasley or Kennard for a dollar.

I agree but at some point you need your coach to do something too. There is zero creativity. We’ve been offensively anemic for Mosley’s whole tenure here.

I am 100% in agreement. Orlando should be running PnRs at a 40% rate. It is sad to see how ineffective the play calling is.
