Who wants to make Part 24 when this one reaches 100 pages? Might as well get that answered now and out of the way early.

That Martins quote doesn't sit well with me. Chances of us improving the roster this offseason are slim. I don't see why Dwight would extend, unless he was intrigued by what we could do in 2013.

I imagine this is what they'll be trying to sell him if they can't trade for Iggy. Firing Otis/SVG, depending on who Dwight wants out, would also go a long way in proving they're serious about making changes.

If we change the culture by getting Otis to step down and getting rid of Stan.....plus bringing in Walsh and Mcmillian...then maybe asking Dwight to extend isn't so bad but they HAVE to improve the roster though because we all see now how important Dwight is...Dwight by himself makes us a 50 win team....If we can somehow add a Iggy plus some talented role players we could be a contender as soon as next season....

Yeah I'm not making many more of these after this... this is RealGM's thread (mods/users)... I'm sure when this reaches 100 pages, a mod or someone will step up and make a quick one right away (if nobody says he or she will make one beforehand)... nobody really cares about the OP post of the next thread part anyway... they just want to move along to the next thread part and continue on with their news/discussions.

Reading between the lines here but I think Alex Martins wants Dwight to extend if he doesn't why fire SVG. If he does the faster he hires a coach. This off season is going to be exciting quick...

Dwight gave them 7 years. Now, Orlando need to be patient with Dwight and build this team AS IF he has signed an extension, and this time, build the team around him that will get it down whether he's here or not.

But wouldn't it be easier if he also came off the books then too? We could probably offer a little more to big free agents if Dwight was a free agent too. I would obviously like to have Dwight secured to a contract first and foremost, but, if he doesn't extend it's not all bad. . . Unless we trade him like morons. . .

I think we all pretend to be GM's here because everything works in theory. We can't be proven wrong.

As for the "get rid of Duhon" part, I honestly can't say that enough. I wish him luck in his career but he's just not the backup point guard we need here.

NO! Anthony Davis is overrated. He will not be even close to Dwight. I would like to be wrong because I would like to see more superstar bigmen, but I don't see it in him.
