Sixers fans are saying their offer would be something involving Jrue/Turner/Vucevic? and I'm thinking possibly Iggy or Young as well. They also have a huge expiring in Elton Brand.

They are a legit potential trade partner if they decide to go all in.

Houston's deal is the way to go. Lowry, Martin, Montiejunas rights, 1-2 lotto picks (from 3rd team), 1-2 mid/late 1sts, Morris and Lamb for Dwight and Duhon. Jones for Magic 4m+ TPE space. Hennigan waives Turk next summer, uses cap space to take more picks from teams needing to get away from hard cap or interested in a vet like Martin, J Rich. Lowry and BBD lead the tank and positive culture change.

Unless Hennigan does some amazing restraint, planning around Bynum's 4-5 yr max deal and 30-40% injury rate with youth before big FA commitments, getting Bynum doesn't make sense. Adding Pau would make it the best offer maybe though. He can be flipped easy.

GS is a sleeper if they add decent picks compared to Hou, and offer Barnes with Stephen Curry and Dorrell as salary filler. Klay, Rush, whoever GS wants is the rest of salary filer. As long as they are choosing whether to flip Bogut for backcourt player for Dwight or trade Bogut direct, who is also very injury prone as Bynum but a great C on 2 yr deal, the main things must be picks, Barnes, and Curry. The whole deal is of though, if the Magic medical review on Curry is not positive. He can miss season time, it'll help lotto chances, but he has to be mainly 100% healthy consistently after, no more than 5-8 games missed per season which is whats near Jameer I think.

Sixers are defintely another sleeper per Ping. I'm high on Jrue but not sure where Turner will go. Mo Harkless with those two and picks would be the main offer. I think there's more potential to Hou's deal with Montie, Lowry, Lamb and one of Morris or Jones surprising, ESP. If they get lotto pick(s) in the offer. I'm also higher on Stephen Curry and Barnes, but Curry is a red flag until medical review. I could see the Sixers offer if Hou is not giving up assets and Hennigan & Co are using their scouting acumen to determine Turner, Harkless, Jrue is a great trio.

Don't understand why everyone wants Bynum? He has so much injury history, a red flag needs to be put on his name there has to be other options out there...

i believe henny will get more teams seriously taking a look into trades. its hard to readjust my thinking that the magic will make a hasty move (otis) to temporarly have some peace.

John Hollinger ‏@johnhollinger
By my reading, most Asik can get on 3-year deal is $23.1M. Breaks out 5.0 yr 1, 5.2 yr 2, 12.9 yr 3.

Bynum played every game he was allowed to play last season and when Kobe was out, he looked liked the best big in the game.

If we have a chance to get Bynum for Howard, we take Bynum for Howard.

My thing is, you don't take on a player like Bynum who is seeking a max deal if you are in our position. We will be a middle of the road team and getting Bynum will handcuff us.

The only ways to properly do it is get a player like Bynum when he is on a rookie salary or add him when you have already built a solid/contending team. Otherwise you are just hurting yourself because there aren't any ways to improve the roster.

So with Asik to Houston, do they not want Howard anymore?
