IMHO Bynum is an injury from catastrophe with the permanent knee braces and medical history/opinions.

The best move is one with a lotto, where Magic go into lottery for 3-5 years, trading for more picks and hopefully getting 2-3 top 5 lotto's. Then use cap space or trades to compete. That team will be OKC build style. You can see it with CLE now but they stretched on their last two picks IMO.

I'll roll with any deal Henny pulls, If the Magic are ultra conservative with Bynum's health because of the obvious rebuilding phase, and dump vets left and right to keep a lotto, even if late lotto, for the next 2-3 seasons, I could see better chances of Henny & Asst.s/Scouts pulling the deft steals. But it's not my first option when we can grab a 1st or top 5(s).

I'm not quite sure I can agree with your black and white logic. If at the trade deadline last year, would you have turned down a trade of D12 for LBJ because LBJ lost in the finals and we cannot compliment him with players better than Wade + Bosh?

Not a 'Norm' fan, but this is actually from an Eddie Murphy routine about 1982. He says the exact same thing, and says he guy who shot the Pope wants to take the 'Hell express'. "Shot the Pope, come right on in!".
He also talks about the Pope taking trip to Harlem, and it is freaking HILARIOUS. Take a break from our Magic woes and listen. You'll laugh your butt off!
