I'm sorry you did that to yourself. Obviously you didn't read my post. I just listed possible candidates with NBA coaching experience and possible college coach candidates. At no time did I suggest or mention that I or anyone else wants Calipari as coach.

If my calculations are correct, the average age of last seasons Thunder and Rockets teams are younger/the same as this Magic team and both of those teams won 54+ games in the West

edit: just looked it up and about 4 teams in the last 5 years won 50+ games with an average age of under >25

And those teams you mentioned have bonifide superstars...

I wonder how long players trust and try hard for a coach who may possibly coach statistically, the worst team in the NBA over a 3 year period. Especially, a coach who continually makes poor substitution patterns which provides poorly obvious mismatches.

No matter how much a player likes a player friendly coach, I reckon the players are going to hear from friends, family, media and everyone about how bad the coach is which will in turn affect the players.

It was just a joke thread I made. I admit it serves no useful discussion value going forward.

I have now been converted to fire JV missionary. Payton proved himself during the 76ers game. Get this clown of a coach off our team. I'm so pissed right now.

Vaughn is a terrible basketball coach. Our team is going nowhere but to the lottery while he's in charge.

mark jackson at least would be talking to the players...all i see JV do is clap his hands on turnovers and do his kobe grin.
