About 2,000 tickets left for Saturday and an equal amount of resale. These guys need our support...

And we play Alabama tonight in basketball! Go Knights

I'd be surprised if it's not at least a near sellout. I know a lot of the resale tickets are overpriced hoping people will jump at them.

Question- if Milton does not play next year, could he red-shirt and play in 2020?

Yes, he hasn't used a redshirt so next year would be his one. In fact if he couldn't play in 2020 he could probably get a medical redshirt
as well and get a 6th year of eligibility and come back in 2021 (not sure he would though if the recovery needs that much time).

He's expected to miss next season, and hopes to return in 2020 though.

He’ll likely miss the entire season. He could however play up to four games and still use a red shirt year under the new rules.

Anyone have any inside info on how the team is feeling with them going into the championship game with Darrell Mack JR? I'm sure he got some game with his passing, its just a matter of connecting on the throws. He might not be 100% confident in his throwing ability but I'm sure he's at least somewhere around 70% confident. He's apparently came close to connecting on a couple deep throws so it sounds like it's just about actually connecting on the throws.

Team is pretty confident, rallying behind playing for KZ. I think Mack missing on throws is more about timing and being familiar with the 1s. With a full week of practice and a game plan more tailored to him he should be more accurate. Hopefully he has a good game, but all the interviews suggest the team is VERY confident in him.

I expect Memphis to stack the box to try to force Jr to beat them. He’s got the arm to do it and I like our chances.

This rests on the UCF D imho. If they can limit Memphis to 2-3 touchdowns I think UCF has a great shot. This just can’t turn into a shootout

Alabama just don’t put the $$$ toward a winning program. No reason they couldn’t be like Kentucky with the resources that athletic department has.

Putting 2 loss Michigan ahead of us is as low as it gets imo.

Learnt this from a Tampa Bay beat writer:

Against a common opponent SMU, UCF won by 28 and Michigan "only" won by 25.

So: UCF is objectively better.

@UCF-48 : SMU-20 LINK
@Michigan-45 : SMU 20 LINK

One main difference was that UCF both ran the ball and had better run defense than Michigan.

As of right now, I would think it is probable that UCF will play Michigan in the Fiesta bowl, and thus, we will learn who is actually better.

As the eternal pessimist, I see us struggling mightily in this game. I have visions of us turning to Qadry Jones in hopes of some kind of spark in the 2nd half. Vegas still has us favored though, so that gives me hope.

Love our AD.

Also heard the interview and he said "or we're" after that line before changing course. I think legal action is on his mind if we are undefeated and left out again. Will be interesting.

PSA:

Tickets at the moment are as cheap as I’ve seen in two years and for a championship game none the less. I wouldn’t wait until tomorrow if you’re looking.

Apparently Ucf did not release non purchased season ticket holder tickets as early as we thought.

As of this morning it looked like in-the-thousands were available.

This really is curious given the resources available.

Are you also upset over not being considered for the NFC Wild Card?

Competition matters. It has to as that is the only measuring stick we have.

The deck is stacked against UCF due to conference agreements filling the majority of their schedule and others. In that sense, yes the system is not perfect. But legal action? lol. Grow up and understand the reality of the situation.

exactly. And Saban has wanted good basketball teams. He feels it would help recruiting even more. He gets involved with the coaches that are hired, spends time with their recruits, PR, etc.

Anthony Grant was a disaster, Mark Gottfried didnt coach players up at all, Avery Johnson hasnt seemed to be able to turn the corner.
