Congrats on a solid win. Franz is going to be a very good player. He's got an old head on young shoulders.

Detroit won today also

Cole needs to get out of the slump. He had 8 Points, 8 Assists and 7 Rebs. Close to a triple double. But tonight he was quite passive.

He needs to shoot good shots and consistently making it.

Cole is my fav player. I hope he shines tomorrow against DAL

Conspiracy theory: We’re looking to trade Harris or Ross (or both) before Fultz is allowed back.

Hampton seems like the odd man out until one of Ross/Harris are traded.

Hampton. But I also think Ross or Harris (potentially both) are close to being out the door so there should be minutes to fill.

Good win. Im love Cole but Suggs deserved to close this game. He did some good things tonight. I still believe Cole and Suggs and play together and Im excited about it. The Wagners were outstanding. I hope we keep Mo Wagner. I love his energy even when he plays bad.

Adding Fultz/MCW to the rotation and potentially removing Ross/Harris is really going to hurt this team from a spacing perspective. I don't want to become Detroit.

Hot take...

I don't think Harris gets moved.

Ross will though.

Moore is a career .388 3PT shooter too and he might work his way into the mix at some point.

Do you honestly think we resign Harris this summer? Seems like a waste to let him expire now that he’s turned his career around.

Also I'd rather hold on to one of Ross and Harris. If Harris stays and agree to work on a smaller $$ contract extension, I think we will get a W

Oh no I don't think he'll be resigned, but it's just more difficult to trade a guy making $20.4M compared to a guy making $12.5M.

Like theoretically a contender would want Harris to plug him in to their rotation immediately, but how many contenders have 15-20M in salary and would be willing to attach a draft pick on top of that?

Ross is a much easier trade to pull off.

Fun game to watch. Glad the Magic were able to get this one. You can tell it helped the morale a bit. The energy Suggs plays with on both ends played a huge role on this win. Our offense played with really nice pace and he was big part of that. Cole's scoring wasn't there but he contributed on the boards and with the assists. The defense definitely needs to improve.

I continue to pinch myself to make sure that I'm not dreaming when it comes to Franz. He plays such a mature game. He is going to be awesome for us for years to come. I feel Suggs will hit that level soon as well. I know the turnovers were there but I felt the game slowed down for him and he played comfortably in this game.

I think Ross gets traded. Fultz takes those mins. Rj and Harris should get the time at sf behind Franz.
I would not be surprised to see Harris resigned to a front loaded deal if possible.
Good game to watch. Franz us solid, Suggs will improve.

I wish we could play Charlotte every game. It's so much more fun.

We won because Mo Wagner outscored whole Hornets bench. And as a unit, Magic bench scored 56 out of 116 points vs Hornets 19.
In general we won because Mo Wagner had best game of his entire career.

In general, youner teams like Magic always play better against teams like Hornets who are bit wild, who push pace and are awful on defense ( Hornets are 5th worst nba defense) because it creates incredible amount of transition points.
Both teams scord almost 50% of all points in paint, because there is very little to no interior defense.

Suggs return is improvment over whatever G league body, there is still whole lot of mixed bag production for him. He made some shots, but was turnover machine, but played good defense. It will be interesting dynamic to watch how Magic approach other games in future in terms of 4th quater rotations.
