Paolo is clearly the best player for us tonight. I am excited to see Franz and Paolo run P&R’s/P&P’s. We just need shooters and guards that can bring the ball up the court and start plays without turning it over (and shoot).

That was an absolutely horrible half, however, maybe it’s just me, but watching Paolo figuring it out in the last minute was impressive. I hope he keeps that same aggressiveness going into the second half.

ALSO, if we’re talking about holding each other accountable. Someone in the locker room better speak up about how terrible the starters were.

Hope we downsize in the 2nd half and move PB to the 4. Bamba is no good out there in the SL if he can't hit outside shots.

So if our weaknesses last year were turnovers, defensive rebounding, and offensive efficiency, it doesn't look like we've leveled up. I think we actually ran out of lives and got sent back to the title screen.

It's really early, I just wanted to make that mediocre joke while I had the chance.

Other than the fact they were playing the Spurs Jabari literally has one job and that's to shoot and that he did well. Paolo has far more responsibilities on this magic team. Paolo will need time.

My god, terrible first half. If I am the Magic management and watching this, im wondering wtf Coach is thinking. The spacing is terrible and Memphis is swarming Paolo every time he touches the ball or tries to drive and none of his teammates can create/shoot. If this is a sign of things to come, I really hope they dont run it back Suggs/Cole/Hampton/Ross.... Maybe go all in on Jordan Poole

Playing a team like Memphis doesn't help who is playing their starting lineup (without JJJ).

Also a team with Franz/Fultz replacing Cole/Bamba in the starting lineup already fixes efficiency and turnovers and ball movement.

What a weird lineup. I missed the first quarter trying to get league pass working.
But the second quarter was full of "blehh".

Banchero missing everything but wow he looks quick out there.

It's literally preseason and this is when you want to find out things. Franz is obviously starting and getting rest tonight, Fultz is injured, Harris is injured (both who may have started, or at least I think Fultz replaces Cole or Suggs), Ross was terrible last year and RJ showed nothing during summer league but played well so far.
