How much do you think he'll get? I'm thinking 18 to 24 will be the baseline option and he could go above that

The Magic are sending the message to free agents that we're not tanking.

We don't know that. All we know is that we have better young talent today... that we got... through the draft.

We will see where Washington lands in the lotto

Won't really matter if Washington where to get wemby. He won't do nothing with ted leonsis as the owner. So it's all good.

Tanking's all about odds anyway isn't it?

The last time we were in this position with a young team and cap space, we signed Rashard.

I highly doubt he's going to get Brunson/Poole/Simons money. If he continues to play at this level, 15-20 would be my guess. If he regresses a bit, 13-16. 4/65 would be my guess.

I'm just not losing sleep over winning games. It is what it is.

The organization - for better or worse - has decided they're not gonna tank down the stretch this season.

We'll see how many spots it costs them in the race for lotto odds.

They're definitely not gonna finish 5th worst. We'll see if they hold on to 6th worst or if they drop even further.

I'm not losing sleep over it but I'm definitely not happy about it this late in the season... Little things like playing Goga over Mo all of a sudden is just stupid.

Van vleet? But this team is still way younger then that team in 07. Dwight and jameer where already in there 3rd year and hedo had been in the league for 6-7 years already.

We’ve got players who are fighting for their jobs and don’t want to lose them to another high lottery pick.

We’re becoming a team like Indiana who won’t roll over down the stretch even though the wins don’t count for anything.

Yeah I could definitely see VanVleet being this guy for us. It is interesting. We are ahead of schedule. I think this rebuild is going a lot better than the Otis Smith rebuild, and that one turned out great. I actually think this is on pace to be as good as the John Gabriel build.

Maybe it's Trent or Dillon Brooks. Possibly, we trade for Simons.
