This is kind of random but the more I watch Victor Wembenyama play the more confused I am as to why so many people are so sure he has a brighter future than Paolo.

Because his defensive is legit and when he put both defense and offense together, he’s going to be crazy especially since he’s like 8’ tall doing this.

So no further punishment for Claxton after that flagrant? Not that I think he deserves a suspension but maybe Silver can do us a favor lol.

Who replaces JI's minutes if he can't play? Goga while moving Mo to PF? TDS at PF? More minutes for Black and Harris? I think i would like to see Black and Harris. Both played really well. Black is gaining confidence, Harris was hot from 3, see if that continues.

I kind of think TDS is the JI replacement

TDS gest pushed around against NBA 4s amd he gets blown by NBA 3s... he needs a year of nba conditioninh before he can even think of replacing our Minister of Defense

The problem is that we won’t have anyone to hide MO’s defense.

Grizzlies have a back to back as well, Houston on the road Friday and us at their home opener on Saturday.

I mean the dude basically did a split while landing on Moe's body. Surprised it's just a sore hip. Probably should've known Moe would go for the charge though.

Wemby has a long way to go to be a winning player. He has convinced himself he is a SG, so instead of using his immense physical gifts he is worried about style points. Right now he is more style vs substance. Trying to dribble into a crowd at that size he is too easily disrupted by the smaller defenders. Probably will take him a ton of lumps for him to wisen up, all the hype he has received is not helping him.

He would be winning player without even touching ball on offense. Problem is that he wants to do stuff on offense that somebody of his size simply doesn't have to do. You had Klay on him and he shot fadeaway mid range and Klay's face is like "why ?"

He is young and will learn how to do more with his size, but yea, there will some times where he is frustrating to watch.

But let's not get this twisted, he did average 21 ppg on 56,5% TS. He is too good to not be elite player. He is elite player today, just needs to polish stuff up in his offense.

And some of it has to do with Dallas. They have Livley and Gafford with size to bother him. And offense where they have 2 uber elite ballhandlers to get rid of rim protection ( and s*** loud of shooting around them ).
