I don't think that's true. At least I haven't seen any articles saying that. Tears vary. Cole came back in a month, Marcus Smart even sooner, Paolo was out longer than that (from the ones I've seen that define it as "oblique tear".

That is what one of the specialists said on Brandon Kravitz the week it happened. No idea, not a doctor.

AB been pretty rough this half. Not finishing at the rim, some sloppy passes which the receiver had to reach for. Good defense but the shots aren’t falling.
