Giddey is clearly better, but he doesn’t really shoot the 3PT well enough to be a good fit for the Magic’s two forwards (not that Black does either) and more importantly he is going to want a massive extension this summer.

I’d go with the cost controlled Black. Even if it was purely for trade purposes.

GIddey can put up numbers on a bad team, but struggles to fill a role on a good team. Needs the ball in his hands, but not good enough to have the ball in his hands on a serious team except as a backup PG IMO. Would be better than our guards don't get me wrong, but not trading AB.
