His defensive decline has stumped me this season. I was not expecting an offensive jump but I thought his defense would be the same as last year. Don’t know what happened to his game.

The defense has picked up to near the same level that it was. His offense has been terrible though.

The VERY strange thing is the low minutes. Makes ZERO sense to play super well defensively for 8 minutes in a half and not play again. Happens way too often.

I decided to skip this game and watch game 1 between the Bulls and Knicks in the 1996 playoffs. The quality of basketball being played is many, many levels higher than what the NBA offers today. I'm sure I'll regret not witnessing us shoot less than 30 percent from three, again, but I'll get over it.

If our young guys had Houston’s veteran supporting cast (FVV, Brooks, Adams) how much better would we be? Better than Houston is now?

Can I change my answer?

Why? I'm taking Paolo and Franz over any of Houston's young guys. I might take Amen over Franz based on potential but I wouldn't comfortably make that trade today. Houston's vets are the ones leading the way and their coach is WAY better and much more proven.

I honestly wish we knew what was going on. I thought this season his minutes would increase but I think they decreased from last year and he only played like 15 minutes a game last year.

Our old buddy Chuma Okeke had a double-double in the first half for the Sixers.

I hope WCJ foul out so Goga can play.

I don't really want to talk about it

I'm just in a bad headspace with this team and where it can potentially go.

It's interesting that FVV and Brooks grade so poorly according to Net Points

I take Paolo and Franz 1 & 2 and it's not close, imo...but they built a TEAM

To be clear though, I love what Amen and Tari have done this season. Admittedly, I didn't think highly of Amen coming in but he really isn't taking off as the PG he was being marketed as anyway. I did want Tari in his draft. We need more dogs like him.

I haven't watched any college ball this year. Who are the 1st round dogs? We need more energy (and talent) on this team.

My biggest fear is that we’ll do nothing this summer with the belief that “injuries” got the better of the team.
