LOL!!!! I was waiting for someone to bring up this suggestion.

I heard Reggie Theus and Donald Royal are also available to sign as a FA

Really? Nice try at being sarcastic and snarky. We need shooters, Meeks is a really good one, he's also not 50 years old.

Agree on needing shooters. But signing these vets thinking its going to put us over the hump is the reasoning why we have been stuck last few years.

Our priorities should be 1. develop Bamba and Isaac 2. see if BIG can be a core 3. trade Vuc, DJ, and fournier for future assets 4. build through draft 5. target 2020 off season as our season to make a big splash

Bamba, get off the board and learn how to play basketball because you suck right now.

Trading Fournier for a starting PG is really the play for this team right now.

Vuc is having an all-star year, can he make it? It'd be a coach write in, no?

So I guess Schroder will be a Magic player after all?

We talk about in the summer coming up with Vuc trade scenarios and it didnt work for us because of that 3 year Schroder contract...so now we would swap 3 year for another 3 year 1.5 mil cheaper

could expand trade to Fournier and Grant for Schrod and Abrines

so no one is addressing the big, athletic and long-wingspan elephant in the room right now? WTF happened to BAMBA? I mean real magic fans weren't expecting offensive contributions from him. However, we do expect some rebound and block-shots. Barring that, maybe some challenge or play D cuz he was touted to be able to guard the perimeter back to the paint.

So what do we see the last couple games?

A rookie playing like a rookie basically.

He's young. He's learning.

I could see Orlando targeting Rubio and taking advantage of Utah's slow start.

They have Exum and Mitchell and could use more of a scoring presence next to Mitchell.

I would do a simple Fournier for Rubio swap with no picks involved.

Try Rubio out for half a season and if it doesn't work no harm no foul we just freed up a lot of cap and just go after another PG and if it does work we make a good playoff run and we're in the front seat of resigning him.

Exactly my point.. right now im enhoying winning baskebtall and im sure most of you are too. So lets reign in these *trade Vuc for a late first-rounder comments* cuz Bamba isnt ready right now. Heck im not sure he will be ready next year as well.

I mean look at JI.. he made leaps and bounds improvement but everyone and his blind grandma can see that he isnt fully ready his 2nd year as well.

So let Vuc lead us for now and if he keeps this uo, next year as well while we develop Bamba. Let him take his lumps ( 0 pts in say 15-20mins ) and bruises ( getting dunked/blocked/ out-rebound3d by a Pg) for now. As long as he doesnt hurt us, im fine with him getting less than 20mins a game as long as we win.

Frankly, we arent tanking anyway

Watching the replay of the LA game and it's clear that Bamba has a long way to go on shot blocking instincts. LA constantly taking the ball at him and scoring most times. He is pretty good at weakside shotblocking but players going right at him not so much.

He honestly is just to weak right now. But he will

We are on pace to win 40 games, I am not too keen to trade anyone right now.

We can keep everything the same, add a NBA level rotation and ride on the improvement of Isaac/Bamba and we make the PO for the next 5 years in the East. For the first time since Dwight, we are not buyers at the deadline but sellers.

Well according to some posters, JI and Bamba are not developing at the pace they want.

So let’s resign Vuc and play more vets theN in 3-4 years when we still don’t know what we have in JI and Bamba and they leave after their rookie deal, we can continue playing more vets.

I don’t know if this fan base even wants to compete for a championship. Next decade of 8th seed and swept in the first round would make a lot of Magic fans excited.

I am sorry but I grew up during the Shaq/ Penny days, watched the Tmac and Dwight Years. We never used to settle for mediocrity. What happened to everyone?

People are inpatient and dont blame them. We all want to win but for the first time in like 8 years we look like a decent team. There is no reason to rush now. We just need a decent PG rotation with this current squad and we will attract some good FA>.

Winning less than 30 games 5 of 6 years has not gotten anybody excited.

Fournier for Schroeder is absolutely a deal I would make and one I think OKC would at least think about.

But I would do it in the offseason after we draft a replacement for Evan in a class rich with such prospects.

Schroeder
Langford
Isaac
AG
Bamba

Sounds fun to me
