Orlando must "replace" Fournier next year. Either by resigning him or getting a FA to replace him.
They could just move Cole into the starting lineup. Fultz guards twos better than ones anyway.

Some of you think this FO/Clifford will start Fultz and Cole ? You are kidding yourselves. The “length priority” FO isn’t going to do that.

As much as I don’t like Fournier, he’s not coming off the bench for a rookie. The FO didn’t sign Bacon and Ennis this offseason only to play “small”. If anyone is shifting/switching with Fournier to SF, it’s going to be Ross.

I knew as soon as Cole was drafted that people would immediately start slotting him in with Fultz in his rookie season. Not happening.

I don't think it's happening until next year, unless Fournier is traded.

It’s not happening unless Cole proves to Cliff he deserves to start next to Fultz. If he plays well enough for it, I believe it will happen. Like Fultz taking over last year. Same for Okeke and the 3/4

I don't think there is any way Cole can start as long as we don't have a legit third rotation pg on the roster. Otherwise foul trouble for either him or Fultz would force us to play extended minutes with MCW at pg.

The moment I see Cole Anthony play any minutes at SG, with or without Fultz, will I believe he will ever enter a SL next to him. Until then, keep dreaming.

Fans do this every time someone gets drafted.

He played PG with Fultz at the SG quite a bit in the preseason.

I mean, it'll happen. It happened in preseason and we played DJ and Fultz together a lot. Might not be until a situation of absolute need because Cliff wants to make it as easy for Cole as possible, but I'm sure the combinations will get creative later on in the season.

Anthony will share the floor with Fultz just like Augustin did, maybe as early as tonight, but whenever it happens I don’t expect to be more than a few minutes a night.

Clifford is real traditional and puts a lot of emphasis on positional size and winning on the defensive glass.

That’s the point. Will it maybe happen at some point? Sure. Is he going to start him barring injury to one of the other starters ? No.

I think it depends where the scoring is coming from. Cliff keeps Fournier in even though he's never grabbed a rebound in his life and still doesn't streak up the court for fast breaks. Both Fultz and Cole crash the boards and push the pace much better than him, so I'm expecting them to be in the backcourt to close games more often than most expect in general this season. Fournier probs slides to the 3, but that kills team rebounding even more.

Currently, what do we have SF?? Bacon? Ennis? I think we can agree Evan is better than those 2..

While im not particularly a fan of Evan, fact of the matter is... he's the best shooter on a team that desperately lacks shooting..

anthony would give up 50 to every starting sg....lol

Ish was 4-9 and -11, Cole did pretty well besides a few plays where he looked lost and not used to NBA speed.

Anyway, point guard defense is the most overrated defense in the game. As long as you can defend a P&R and not trail someone on every play (DJ), that's most of the job now. Picks/screens/how people are allowed to defend make point guard defense super hard to do.

Oh yeah definitely not. I don't think there's any scenario where Anthony starts at SG this season even with injuries.

If Fournier got injured, Clifford would probably go with Bacon at SG and Ennis at SF when Ennis is back healthy.

If it happened before Ennis was back, he'd probably go with MCW.

A fultz and cole anthony backcourt will happen. It is inevitable. Especially with the way to league is going, having as much scorers as possible in a lineup.

Aminu is wasting a roster spot smh rather have Rondae Hollis Jefferson or Michael Kidd-Gilchrist in his spot.

Adding RHJ would be the best outcome he provides so much fight and energy. Also, is still only 25 and fits in well with our team.
