looks like the top 3 could be pretty set then with banchero supposedly pushing his works out with orlando and chet perfering okc in the wiretap. Im guessing its just gonna go as planned

2. chet
3. Paolo
Unless a team drafts someone else to hold as a ransom. I think Jabari ends up on orlando when its all said and done.

There is something going on with Magic. If the rumor was true, why both Chet and Paolo preferred not to be drafted my Orlando. Orlando really has bad infrastructure for the future?

That may be the biggest "i'm sick of doing these same interviews/questions" answer i've ever seen, lol. Dude is downright out of it and giving the simplest dismissal of an answer. Either a) he knows he's not supposed to blab about stuff and can't think of anything better, or b) he doesn't have anything to say and is just trying to be courteous, lol.

Either way don't read too much into it. I took it as a really young guy who is probably tired of those questions and wants the draft to be over with already so he can start his career.

I'd view it more as they see better opportunities for them in those cities. These are young guys a year removed from high school, and the Magic have been at or near the bottom of the league since they were in like 6th grade, so I don't blame them if they're looking at Houston and Detroit as better options for their chances, not even factoring in things like position needs, who they'd be playing with, etc. I really wouldn't read too much into it as if there's anything wrong with the Magic per se, just more about perceptions. if the Magic drafted them they'd come around and embrace it pretty quickly.

I’ve been Team Chet since the start, recently more on the Banchero bandwagon. I don’t mind Jabari, just not nearly as excited about him as the other two. Honestly like Ivey more than Jabari. Hopefully it all works out as it feels like Jabari is going to be the pick.

Still kind of a weird thing to say when a few weeks ago up to now he was saying "I'm the #1 pick in this draft".

I never really liked Paolo's attitude to be honest. If the FO is playing games and knew they were taking him they could absolutely play this off as if they weren't and still do it. I don't trust any information coming out the week of the draft.
