Same. Im expecting Green and Watson gone but if we cant find a partner then we will prob just waive them. Im fine keeping what we have and see what they can do these finals 20+ games.

CJ is hurt, he's getting a MRI on his hamstring tomorrow. Not sure if that matters, but might hinder a trade.

Woj seems pretty optimistic that we may see another trade tonight.

Woj:

Lot of pressure on Rob. Early on felt like they were on the path. Good players, not great. Gave up on Tobias too soon. Significant pressure on Hennigan. Serge was a mistake. Had to cut losses. Plan was to play differently than the league, it didn't work. Guard wise they've been active. They've had convos about Reggie Jackson. Is Detroit ready to give him up?

Orlando is active. But, you've got a GM who had 1 vision, and Vogel who has a different one. Vogel is on a long contract, Hennigan is not. Where the power lies right now is interesting. I think Vogel might have more voice right now, more than Hennigan. Puts Rob in a tough spot.

Team backed out of Cousins. Sacramento liked the Vuc/Fournier deal, but Orlando wasn't prepared to do it.

He spent a long time talking about Orlando. I guess we overloaded them with Magic questions. So we're looking for a PG and SF...lots of pressure on Rob.

My guess is that Cousins doesn't like private school vouchers.

Why are people surprised about this? We all know this was a Martins and Skiles trade that was forced into Rob to acquire two of "Skiles guys." Everybody keeps blaming Rob but he would have never done this trade if Martins just stayed the F out. Everybody knows we got a sh*t deal for Tobias. That was all orchestrated by management.

Bingo. Lowe's comment wasn't anything new.

If there is nothing available..... i'm fine with that.... rather than taking shots just to say we made another trade. Enjoy gordon back at the pf postion.... and ross as a new player.... and embrace the tank

I'm cool with it too, I just feel like if we don't make a move then Watson and Green will be our starters to close the year out instead of the Payton/Fournier/Ross/Gordon/Vuc lineup that it should be.

Detroit is holding out for a pick and/or elf. We will cave and end up with Reggie Jackson. Book it.

Disagree. At least one of the 'vets' is being dealt (now whether Elfrid or Mario get thrown in to make it a bigger deal, we'll see). Don't be surprised if we hear nothing until Thursday.

I bet this is the "better offer" Vlade Divac mentioned. The agents probably squashed it.

I'm interested in Andre Drummond. Curious to what Detroit would want.

It wasn't that, its that Vivek realized Steph Curry became available

Totally agree. I think Rob is way too active to just let the deadline pass without a move. I'm sure a lot of teams are asking for too much because they know he's desperate, but eventually something will happen. I actually expect a pretty active trade deadline for the league, and I think we'll see the Magic make a deal or two. Just because we are not getting rumors doesn't mean nothing will happen. Actually, seeing how most of Rob's trades come out of nowhere, that's probably a sign of something might be close to happening.
