Dallas offered Hardaway jr and 10th pick for Bojan Bogdanovic.

it's very good indicator that teams and GMs don't value this draft all that high past cetain point. (top 3)

Only $2m of Bogdanovic's contract in 2024 is guaranteed. Dallas can save $14m to throw at Lebron, Paul George, Kawhi, Anthony Davis, or Jaylen Brown.

Anyone else feel a little uncomfortable with the length of the suspension? I mean is it a great look what he did? Hell no and it’s dumber than **** so I don’t feel that bad. But damn he didn’t break the law and was not charged. Bridges got 30 games for DV. I guess it’s like a totality of everything and but that is not how the NBA is framing it. NBAPA is pissed and I bet it gets chopped in half. Just like Goodell in NFL he would give these ridiculously suspensions to not appear weak and get killed in the media for being a light suspension. All this knowing it was going to get reduced on appeal (well until they changed the rules)
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

Yah it's a setting an example penalty that is over the top, think his side has to appeal it. His extension starts this year...That's $10M dollars. I am sure the league and Memphis just want him to take his medicine and move on but...sheesh.

This Beal stuff is crazy. Is there a dumber decision that doesn’t involve the draft in terms of a contracts and giving Beal that No Trade Clause.

You are reaching a bit here. One team’s (who is desperate to improve quickly) choice does not indicate what other or majority of team’s value. Furthermore there are plenty of reasons a team would forego drafting a player to make other arrangements that have little or nothing to do with draft strength or value.
For example:

Preferring a veteran to immediately help (most common).

Not being able to afford the salary of said draft slot (less common).

The team is stupid and not indicative of the rest of the leagues perception of draft strength. (Common)

That NTC also follows him to his new team so if it doesn’t work out they can’t just dump him. Talk about a poison pill contract

if he hadnt sat across from Silver and said he wouldnt be in stuff like this again and all, it might be different. But guns are a touchy thing, especially with all the shootings going on. and i think they also took into account all the other incidents that didnt look good for him (attempted assault of shoe store employee, beating up HS kid at his house, the Pacers incident, the high school incident).

Beal to Phoenix for Paul and Shamet.

Glad he isn’t going to Miami.

Is that confirmed?

Sort of a steal for Sun's, but Beal plays the same position as Boooker.

Someone make sense of this for me, please.
