Do these trades mean we also get to clean house around here of the ever loyal “Buddy Ball” fans? I mean, if their Precious is gone will they still post here?

If true, then the return HAS to be nesmith and langford+draft picks, but smart or kemba would be completely against what weham are apparently doing

Wait, are we giving the keys to the franchise to AG or something? Is that why he backed off the trade demand?

Seems likely. Very weird to demand a trade, publicly discuss it and then retract the demand.

We will be lucky to see the playoffs by 2030. Now nobody but Fultz/Isaac have seen play-off basketball

I'm thinking this also means we're looking at another potential top five pick in '22. Even if Fultz, JI and whoever we draft this year have great seasons, they don't know how to win yet. We're about to get some real young talent on this roster. We'll need luck but at least there's a legit strategy and way forward now.

I may have to take back my Weltman/Hammond criticism. The Vuc move takes some stones. Proves they are interested in the draft pick and being good, rather than running on the mediocrity hamster wheel. Assuming we aren't involved with more deals this afternoon for vets (Lowry or Kemba)

People have complained for years the Magic don’t ever make a trade now we finally make multiple trades and yet people still complain. Who cares if it’s a good or bad trade something needed to be done and it finally happened. We start fresh next year, see who we get in this years draft, hope we have everyone back to full health and hope we get some decent free agents.

I'm complaining a bit but they are not TERRIBLE deals. I can handle what has happened. Just wanted more prospects.

It’s going to be funny to see Martins go on a press conference and say how we are a team that can still compete for a playoff spot this year.

well WeHam just lit the place on fire and walked away. not thrilled at all for any of these trades, not the incoming players or picks. Because i also dont trust WeHam making these picks
