Y’all cry too much about the rotation when the season hasnt even started. Lol

Much ado about nothing. Hahaha

You already know who Mosley is going to play and who he isn't going to play.

Spoiler: the 20 and 21 year olds aren't gonna be playing ahead of the freshly signed and resigned veterans.

i dont agree AT all.

a 14 mill dollar contract screams insurance policy all over. Garry has had plenty of time to grow into something else, and he is what he is. I can easily see him riding the bench and AB taking all his minutes this year.

14 million over two years. Lol

Not to mention, black is already earning more than him with gry’s new contract.

Gary is just making only 1.8million than jett. Peanuts.

Im not mad yet, but if we resign Fultz, I will be mad lol.

Those guys were drafted to teams that were still tanking and the Magic are not in that place anymore.

To be honestly, I can see Paolo, Franz, and Suggs starting even when this team weren’t tanking.

I can imagine the years with Vuc, Fournier, Gordon, I would start the current players over the latter.

Yes. Cause we’re playing our best players now.

Just so happens AB and Jett were not physically built to handle the rigors of the NBA. It was evident last year, there were some instances AB still looked physically young and inexperienced.

He is a rookie, he is supposed to look like that.

Paolo and Franz are exceptions to the rules.

1. The Magic liked what they saw from Suggs as a point guard
2. The Magic like a defensive minded spot-up shooter at shooting guard
3. They are now in line to get 48 minutes of KCP and Harris
4. The Magic are not providing any clear paths to playing time for AB and Jett
5. The magic really believe in continuity

Suggs technically never played point guard and we don’t know what the plan is for Jett and especially Black.

KCP is a very good role player.

Super durable. Defends his ass off. Hits 40% of his threes, albeit at low volume. Understands how to succeed as a 4th/5th option offensively and isn't going to complain about a lack of shots or anything like that.

He's the exact kind of guy you want around a star talent/talents.

I wonder if part of that particular signing is to have KCP help Paolo with his point forward development. KCP has been running halfcourt sets with the best in the business.

You know, Im on board with these moves.

KCP is a great pickup, and I like both Goga and Gary. None of the deals were bad and there wasn't anybody better available. Paul George didnt want to be here, and Hartenstein got priced out. I cant be mad at that.

But Weltman has to figure out a trade or something soon. Because roster doesn't make sense and is flawed. AB and Jett need minutes, if youre not going to play them, we should trade them.

At some point this season, Weltman has to get creative.

Also I just want to say its really cool that Gary and Goga wanted to stay. They both couldve easily went somewhere else and they decided to stay here under reasonable contracts. Thats awesome

But again, please just no Fultz.

Well, not so much Jett lol. Just in principle I think lottery picks have value and should be developed.

I really like Harris and Goga, and if they’re essentially signing on as 3rd string guys then we’re still in good shape, and we’ll be in position to clear space for next summer, too, if need be.

Love the Goga deal. Glad to have him back.

Shocked to see Harris back but I probably shouldn’t be.

So we used our long praised financial flexibility of 50 Mio capspace, to replace Fultz with KCP. Genious. Is that what people here for years were envision, when every trade deadline we did nothing, praising our cap flexibility, pointing to these one big summer to take leverage of that cap space? Wow :nonono:

Tbh, i think the new free agency rule really disrupted the plan. Dried up the pond quick.

We are good offensively. This team has shooter now. If Franz gets back to 35% from 3 this teams going to be a top 4 team. KCP and Suggs will shut Donovan Mitchell and Garland down. Goga's going to take over the starting spot and Jett and AB will carve out some burn... relax the sky is not falling.
