Problem is, PHX would hold out for Ryan since he'd be the centerpiece to the trade. Redick is a hell of a player, but you don't trade Steve Nash for a package centered around JJ. He's the supplemental piece to the trade.

Yeah, not to mention the fact that Hedo becomes [even more] obsolete with Nash on the team. You'd have to bench him if you acquired Nash.
