Thank god that report came out so this board can finally get over that Ellis crap... It wouldn't happen even if they didn't want Howard.

They think they have better pieces than NJ and the Bay area is a great place to market yourself to Asia so Dwight can grow his overseas brand.

Just to troll us. They're the most annoying team in the league to me right now. :nonono: They'd actually be better served making a realistic move. But their owners are tripping on some good stuff with this fantasy.

Portland looks to be on the verge of implosion. Any pieces there worth trying to get?

I'd still say the Dirty Nets are the more annoying team. but, the Warriors are a very close second....

Batum? Matthews? Wallace? I'd be happy with either one.

No wonder Otis has ties with them

I would imagine they want to build around LA and Batum. That would leave Matthews, Felton, Wallace, Crawford, Camby on the block for them. Felton is probably going somewhere, he was benched yesterday. Wallace just said the other day he wants to retire in Portland (??).

Some reports saying there is 1 veteran on the team that is undermining coach in the locker room. It could have been Felton given his benching. But something going wrong in the locker room and I'm sure they want to get rid of whatever the cancer is.

I'm not preventing you from talking about anything... But GS made it obvious from the start that all they were interested in was Howard. Why would they give us Ellis? Plus they have David Lee who pretty much makes Anderson as a trade piece useless. I just didn't get why nobody could see that

Because we could've traded them Anderson FOR Lee, he's much much MUCH cheaper than Lee... but GS FO is terrible, and that's why they've been stuck in mediocrity, and they will stay there as long as their owner and GM are there......

I would do anything to get him. but, he's their superstar that they're trying to build around. so, there is no way we can get him.

I don't believe anyone "didn't see that"... we were all pessimistic and doubtful it would even happen (we all read the reports a month or two ago about GS wanting to rent Howard)... but it's a speculation thread... a thread to discuss any and every rumor... so people are going to get heated and excited over things that they know are not realistically possible or able to happen. :) ...

That's all. No need to point out the obvious. It's been 14 threads... we know. It's not happening... Ellis isn't coming here... but it's still fun to talk about... if it's annoying or bothersome to you, then you're missing the point of this thread... don't worry if people got too obsessed over the Ellis rumor. It happens.

only cheaper for this season..they're going to have to pay him at the end of the year anyways so its redundant for them.

I hope Otis is sweating in his office everyday, with that big troll smile of his... I'm taking sick pleasure in the fact that teams are hanging up on him... I know, that's messed up... but he deserves it.
