Via Broussard (some trade proposals he came up with)
1. C Andrew Bynum and PG Ramon Sessions, Los Angeles Lakers for PG Deron Williams and C Brook Lopez, Brooklyn Nets

If the Nets' No. 1 plan of trading for Dwight Howard works, then by all means they should go that route. But if they can't get Howard and Williams wants to go elsewhere, the Nets should try to swing a sign-and-trade. Bynum is a New Jersey native who would give the Nets a star to build around in their move to Brooklyn, and Sessions is more than a serviceable point guard.

I actually think this works for both sides.

Not sure if i liek it. Maybe because i think Bynum is overrated. It seems Brooklyn is giving up too much. It should be Deron, Mr. Kardashian for Bynum.

That would be a good trade for the Lakers in my opinion... Kobe needs another back-court playmaker and scorer... plus Lopez is decent scoring big to pair with Pau.

I don't like the trade for the Nets... I have no clue why they would do that tbh.

I get the same feeling too. The core trade though, Bynum for D-Will, makes a lot of sense. Sort of the same situation we're in with Dwight. The Lakers need a shake up and the Nets don't want to lose D-Will for nothing. Bynum is from NJ and a center is always a good start to rebuild. He is overrated, but it's better than D-Will leaving for nothing. Bynum carries a lot of value as a trade asset and if they keep Lopez, they'd have nice length in the front court, much like the Gasol/Bynum tandem. Not sure how Sessions figures into this. He's going to opt out and test free agency, most likely.

Giving up Lopez doesn't make much sense, but getting Bynum is a decent consolation prize for the Nets effort. Better than nothing :dontknow:

Bynum is not someone you can build a team around. He's a head case who doesn't bring it every night. Too inconsistent to be anything more than 2nd or 3rd option.

The best they can get from this trade scenario for Deron is Bynum (and they would have to give up Lopez) ... they will most likely not get Dwight... and that Gerald Wallace trade blew up in their faces last night.

It must suck to be the Nets at the moment.

This. Also, if that trade went through, a day later we'll be hearing rumors about Pau for Dwight.

If we can get an Avery Bradley type player, then we do it. Also, it just looks like the SF/PF's at 19 always bust. The PG's look good.

Yeah I would like a PG at 19, maybe Marshall or Teague... but the SFs look good at 19 as well... I hope one of those #10-14 guys fall to us.

I'm with you on this. The main 2 guys I would like to have are Marshall or Teague. If they are taken earlier, than I would look at some SF's. Mainly because I just don't trust Wroten for some reason.

Yeah that seems more fair for both teams imo... Lopez involved just made it unbalanced talent-wise

Yea and a front court of Bynum/Lopez would be pretty good, along with Brooks and if they keep Crash they would be a solid playoff team.

that's not a solid playoff team..that makes their situation even worse..they move down a few spots in the draft and would have no cap space left after resigning Lopez, Bynum, Crash and Sessions...
