The cuts made by the Magic today were the right decisions. Very excited that Dequan made this roster and he truly deserved it as he worked extremely hard to get to this point in his life.

Harper needs to play overseas a bit and just work on his game overall. He needs to decide if his skill set is suited for SF or PF as tweeners never seem to pan out in the NBA. It is definitely bittersweet to see Q-Rich get cut but it was definitely the right move as McRoberts has more value with his contract and that he is a serviceable big in the NBA. I have nothing but love and respect for Q-Rich as I've been following him his entire career. I'm sure he will latch on to a contender as he can still play a bit in the NBA.

Very excited about the changes being done to the Magic.

I'm hoping there is a trade going down right now involving Memphis and Orlando, they just waived 3 players and there roster is down 13. They can have McRoberts for a 1st if they want him

I'd be more than happy w a second. Would also gladly trade Redick for a 1st. Would trade any two players short of Afflalo, Nicholson, Vucci, and Harkless for a first even.

I would go with Dequan needs work on D.

If you watched him on the defensive end he fell for A TON of fakes & got beat quite a few times. He also takes a lot of chances which hurts/helps him. The guy has A LOT of learning to do, but he certainly was gifted with some great tools.

Glad DQ Jones made it. He definitely earned himself a spot. He does need some work on the defensive end of the floor and other things but that can be learned. We could be one of the most athletic teams in the league if things pan out. As far as the cuts I agree with them. Harper didn't really show much this preseason and would really have had trouble getting off the bench with the dearth of big men this team has now. Sorry to see Q go he was a good teammate and locker room guy to have around but with the new direction just wasn't room for him. He'll catch on someplace and I wish him well.

Man, hard to believe considering the roster over the past five years.

There are finally a few players on this roster that can go one on one and create their own shot including Jones and Moore.
