We shall see.

Bledsoe certainly brings more D & explosiveness to the club if true, but what about our O? We just gonna try & hold guys under 75 a game?

If we do acquire him I hope he is starting so we see what we got with em. No need to bring him off the bench.

F*** yes, I'm excited for Afflalo to leave. He's a nice dude and he'll be needed there in LAC, but I was never a fan of him on the Magic.

Chad Ford said something today that I agree with 1000%: Don't draft a guy or not draft a guy based on a workout. It's the biggest mistake people make.

Wonder if JV has been in touch with his Kansas alumni to learn about McLemore.

Blue_and_Whte wrote:People need to stop. Noel is skinny as hell and Burke is small and the existence of players that resemble them dont change that fact. There are concerns about his frame and the ability to put on weight and they're legit concerns. The dude gets pushed around alot, and he's a putrid offensive player. He can't back people down at the college level and he has no jumper shot, (although it's obvious that he's working on it.) He should not try to score in the NBA unless it's put backs and thats without taking into consideration FT's.

At the same time his defensive abilities are undeniable and one could say one in a lifetime so does that alone make him BPA? He has to be the most difficult to figure out.

whoa. Who has said Noel has "once in a lifetime" defensive skills? I know he can block shots, and has decent skills. Anthony Davis was supposed to be better defensively than Noel and he didnt look like the second coming in the NBA playing PF. 6'10, 220 and he was under 2 blocks a game.

He honestly makes the most sense next to a guy like Bledsoe.

That is what is called a game changer, and he looks to be the only game changing presence in this entire draft. That is impact. Maybe it's not the pretty impact we like to see with flashy dunks, threes, and offense, but he above all players in this draft make the biggest singlehanded IMPACT.

Anthony Davis was better than Noel, and he didnt singlehandedly make them better. They were in the bottom 5 of team defense. people under rate just how good Dwight was on defense when he put his mind to it

I wonder would we end up keeping Butler or moving him because it seems if we keep Caron that either Harkless has to move to the 2 or Tobias makes the full move to the 4.

Clever statement by the OPP. They don't say that there are any sources linked to it, or that they are the actual source.

All they are doing is writing speculation. So don't confuse their speculation with something that is really going to happen. We all have been expecting something like this to happen. Whether it does or not is another thing. What's being said there is nothing different from what is said every day here.

They are speculating. Not reporting.

Rather take my chances on Noel than McLemore.

I honestly think that Doran Lamb is going to do good here his second year with us.
i belive he shot about 45% from 3 his time here in 24 games played.

If we get Bledsoe and then draft Noel....we would have one of the youngest and most athletic lineups in the league. Of course, when Noel gets back...

Bledsoe
Hark
Tobias
Noel
Vuc

nassssty. Although, we'd have to make a shot outside of 10ft somehow...lol

OPP just reported someone else's report. He linked to it in the post: http://www.sportscity.com/meet-the-new- ... 013/06/24/. Yes, still speculation just wasn't sure if you'd jumped into the article he linked.

Yeah, on their source, the "sportscity" article, the rumor is randomly thrown in at the end of the article. Disappointing.

Perfect draft day:
1-Draft McLemore/Oladipo
2-Trade for Bledsoe
3-Trade for a pick in the 20-30 range and draft Mitchell

He's written three pieces on Afflalo/Bledsoe dating back to May 29th, all based on Chad Ford's report that the deal was actually proposed in May and that Clippers are choosing between Granger and Afflalo. I'm not sure where the new info that he'd be moved on Thursday came from.

The bolded combo is a major problem. If we do not draft, sign or trade for a SG I think you have to start Lamb at SG (assuming he has confidence in his shot back).
A smart coach once said, "Potential just means you're not good enough yet." Playing on potential is like living on air: It's essential, but if thats all you have, you're eventually going to starve.
