Same. Hayes, Lewis & Vassell for me. I really hope Hayes somehow falls to us. I've seen 5-6 games of him here in germany & really like his game. Would be such a magic thing, seeing all my preferred guys drafted right before us.

Interesting stuff here.. Fournier & AG now on the block, not shocking but good to see

If Minny takes Wiseman we should call Golden State with a package

what package do you think we could offer that would move the needle for them?

Absolute 0% chance Minny takes Wiseman.

If they wouldn’t move up for Doncic or Trae there’s no way they move up for Vassell.
A scoring guard.. never heard of one.

wow no trades for us...
if Bulls offer 4th and Carter its a steal for Warriors...then they take Avdija and call it a draft.
Btw thats what you do if you like a certain player...

reminds me of Henny and what WE DIDNT DO that year when he wanted Porzingis but didnt want to give up Dipo and 5th to get him so he went for Mario instead.

Wow forgot Golden state salary situation was a nightmare. We can not trade with them unless they send us Wiggins or Draymond which I don't want.

They couldn't move up for either Doncic or Trae.

I still don’t know if this is true.

“Wouldn’t” implies there was a trade on the table they said no to.

Can you prove that?

The only opportunity was with Memphis to break up the deal as I don’t believe Atlanta would have worked with us. There were rumors Memphis was willing to trade but why would they trade for AG when they had a good forward for less money to pick at 4? Our offer wasn’t interesting to them.

So again, I 100% believe they wanted to make a deal but couldn’t find a taker.

The real mistake that year was during the season when we kept winning meaningless games.

Whoever drafts Lamelo Ball tonight, I would call up that team and ask them if it's possible I can get Lamelo Ball. If they were to say yes, Than we offer anything/everything for Ball.

I agree. That's a great deal for them. They'd have to think Wiseman is WAY better than Carter to pass it up.

Anchiuwa is my dark horse to be the best player in the draft. Every time I see him i think about the first time I watched Amare Stoudamire.

Ball strikes me as a kid that would pull an Elway/Eli about coming to Orlando

After taking a look at the most recent ESPN mock draft (updated 9:33 am CT today -- draft day)

Let's get !CRAZY! for a minute ...

Both Devin Vassell and Killian Hayes are available at #11 when the Spurs pick.

Would #15 + Evan Fournier + Future pick (protected) for Demar Derozen + the #11 pick and our choice of those two interest anyone?

Then perhaps there is a deal out there for AG to help us get back in the game for a mid-round first and grab another shooter / scorer we have been talking about.

Based on the news we are open for business on both of these guys with the intent to get younger, this feels like a good move.

I don't really care about Derozen. A one year rental of Derozen vs. a one year rental of Fournier is a wash to me. I care about the pick.

They will pick another an long, “Athletic”, good defender but non-shooter..... so sick and tired with their explanation.... look at Dallas, Miami, the Sun and soon Atlanta, they are and will be much better than magic. Their games are much excited to watch.

Weltman doesn't reveal his cards. I think Windhorst is just making a logical guess when he says that we are looking to go younger because when you look at the sad state of this roster that would be the obvious thing for us to do. Weltman isn't logical though. He's borderline delusional and thinks this team will be relevant this season.

I expect no moves, && for Weltman to draft some "hIgH uPsIdE" long-armed guard/forward that both he and Hammond can fawn over.
