Anthony Black, in just his second year, already surpasses fifth-year player Cole Anthony in assist ratio (64th vs. 60th percentile), defensive effectiveness (85th vs. 49th percentile Def EPI), and minutes played (24.0 MPG vs. 18.5 MPG), indicating he's trusted more by coaches and excels defensively and as a playmaker earlier in his career.

Black was a high lotto pick and Cole was picked outside of the lotto. Black should be better!

Cole was like number 1 in his hs class tbh.

The guy just has a stunted growth.

It's either gonna be a year of stalled-out player growth and frustration, which translates to 38-43 wins and Weltman's seat getting warm, or a year of players making leaps (50 wins, playoffs). The safer bet feels like the former.

It was realistically about 45-48 wins this year without major injuries happening. Can see a 50+ win leap next season only if we get an actualized guard rotation
