We needed one of those games where every shot goes in and other team is confused on both ends, especially defensive side.

Yeah, it's been like that for a while. Hopefully he can condition during the all star break.

Paolo is a great talent, but I'm beginning to question his passion for the game.

Like how? Or why need the allstar break? He needs to lock himself in a sauna for a week?

LoL

I swear, this young players have no clue about anything when it comes to conditioning. Month ago i tuned in podcast where one of soccer assistant coaches was ranting how dumb young players are.
He pretty much said he had situation where player of Banchero' age had week off after playing for u21 national team, and he returned in worst shape ever.
Asked what he did- he lied, said nothing but stuff he was scheduled by team's trainer.
But his "private coach" published on instagram videos of that player being trained by him.

Basically guy went balls deep for 7 days straight, returned dead tired and pulled hamstring in first min of actual team practice due overtraining & being overcooked .

All star break is a week long period, nobody can get in shape in 6 days.

He says he wants to be in great shape, not that he's in bad shape like Luka offseasons  - probably just wanting to get back to his normal regiment he had before the year. Not being able to do much of anything basketball or working out related for two months and then trying to work your way through games probably doesn't feel great.

In the least surprising news of all time, Gary Harris appears to have once again tweaked his hamstring and is now QUESTIONABLE for tomorrow in Denver.

No Debbi-downers: Orlando won the game!
Just be happy !!!!

Box-score thoughts:

Orlando won the FG% battle and won the game.

In a game Orando dominated made FGs, the Magic ALSO took more FG. WOW

And it wasn't because of rebound-differential, as Orlando was actually minus-2. It was becasue of TO-differential.
Not only did the Magic force 17 TOs, they only had 8.

30 assists on 50 made buckets. Nice!

Coach Mosley will sleep well with a minus-9 TO-differential stat. That is awesome!

Oh: the Magic was 93.3% from the charity stripe. Nice!

I suggest you and many others who don't understand how these things work take a look into the conditioning and fitness of WWE/AEW wrestlers who are constantly traveling and the ones who get time off to recover from bumps and bruises. I would suggest taking a look at Sheamus' youtube series about fitness.

The long and the short of it is that when these wrestlers are constantly traveling, practicing for the shows, doing fan meets, signing stuff, etc, it cuts into their ability to make any kinds of gains and typically leads to them losing conditioning. It also leads to the mirage of guys returning and looking like they "gained 15 pounds of muscle" because they are able to focus on the correct conditioning and having their body recover correctly, etc.

So having ~2 weeks time to work just on your body and conditioning without everything else getting in the way of doing it right could work wonders for someone who was shelved and unable to do anything for months.

But that's just it. Didnt we hold back Paolo even longer just so he could recover properly?

I thought the problem is conditioning? So isn't that weight and lungs?

BTW, if Paolo needed more time off for conditioning, I don't think think the FO would even blink in granting him a week or 2 off.
