Re: #10 UCF [7-0]: bye week
Apparently there is still going to be a fair amount of people going.
Let's hope they are low-key while they are there. This is not the time to be parading around in gear.
This game is the ultimate drunk fest, and there have been some tragic incidents in past years around the area before and after the game.

Re: # 9 UCF [7-0]: bye week
Looking at the lower ranked one-loss team from P5, most will leap-frog UCF by season's end.
Right now I see the playoff seedings if all teams win out as:
1) Alabama/LSU
2) Clemson
3) Notre Dame
4) Michigan/OSU
5) Oklahoma/West Virginia
6) Washington State
7) Georgia/Kentucky (if either beats Alabama/LSU in the SEC-title game, what a mess that will be)
8) UCF
In addition to the Texas loss, it was good for UCF that Iowa and NC St. lost.

I dunno...I feel a loss coming. Temple, USF, and Cincy are all solid, and that Houston squad is gonna be a PROBLEM in the AAC Championship game. This year’s team just doesn’t have the same ‘magic’ to me as last year’s. Hope I am wrong....I am loving every minute of this streak.
I actually think we are ranked pretty fairly this year (unlike last year). While my knee jerk reaction to us not moving up while winning the last couple of weeks was outrage, I would probably put us as slight underdogs to most of the teams just above us, and sizable underdogs to Clemson, Oklahoma, and Alabama.

I think the peach bowl wouldn’t mind having us back. We sold all of our tickets and some.
Speaking of tickets, cheap tickets can be had for Thursday.

Yeah I agree, that Houston te will definitely be the biggest challenge if we play in the conference championship.

Houston made USF look average. The poll voters gave them a lot of credit for a convincing win.

It wasn't a good weekend for Florida football in general.
All losers NFL: Jags, Dolphins, Bucs
All losers College: USF, UF, FSU, Miami
I wonder if that's ever happened before?

Anything in the top 10 would be great for UCF on Tuesday.
Personally, I'm expecting them to be ranked like 13th or 14th when the committee releases their first ranking tomorrow.

I’m thinking 11-12 to make sure we’re no where near the top 4. The more important thing will be where Houston ends up ranked. We need AAC teams to make the poll.

Re: #9 UCF [7-0]: vs Temple
Yea I don't think you should have to worry about security about getting a bunch of fans together to go to Game Day. *shrugs*
Anyway, UCF #9 in the Coaches and AP Polls. Oklahoma must've played BYE better since they jumped us in the AP lol.
First CFP Rankings come out tomorrow (Tuesday) at 7pm. Guessing we'll be in the 14-17 range.
Temple on Thursday night at home. Heupel continues to say Milton is day-to-day, but I'd be surprised if he doesn't play. Temple is a tough opponent.

Florida Intl Golden Panthers is quietly winning their division in Conference USA. Team's already bowl eligible, and ripping off another 4 wins, a 10-2 team could get a later-December Bowl invite.

They get little to no press unfortunately. The entire CUSA league is searching for scraps in the media to get attention other than Lane Kiffin.

Heupel says Milton is a game time decision on Thursday, but I'm not buying it.
Sounds like gamesmanship to me. I'm betting he plays.

Considering he was in uniform and throwing at ECU I’d be a little surprised if he didn’t play.

Re: #9 UCF [7-0]: vs Temple
The first invitational rankings are out and Ucf starts at 12.
There will lots of teams moving in the coming weeks.
6 of the top 11 teams this week either will or may have significant opportunities to lose.
Ucf has to keep winning and hope for historically massive chaos with the teams ahead of them.
