All his points came off screens or off a catch, jab step, and shot. Outside some decent defense he really doesn't do much. I really don't know if you can teach someone how to be a creative ball handler/creator/ play maker. I just wished there was a lot more creativity in his game. He gives me Wiggins vibes in terms of hype he may not live up to.
I mean he's just not that guy at this point. He's only 18 years old, so I don't want to say other parts of his game will never develop, but right now he's a true 3&D stretch forward.
His value is so high though because he's so young and because it appears like he's going to be spectacular at the shooting piece and very good at the defensive piece.
If those two things come to fruition in the NBA, there's almost no way Jabari will bust. A four who can hold up defensively and hit threes at a high clip? Everyone wants that.
It's obviously not all the way there yet and maybe not even close, but there's flashes of isolation ability too because his jumper is basically unblockable and he's such a good shooter that you can just dump it into him in the midpost and still get a 45-50% shot attempt no matter who is guarding him.
