Our last 3 regular season games

VS Navy- They don't look good today nor all season, It wouldn't matter playing them at our place or theirs. Their not as good as last year's team

Vs Cincy- yea their respectable but we get them at our place

At USF- USF gave up so many points at Houston last week and currently losing 27 to 3 at home to Tulane? LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

Anything could possibly happen in any game but we already got past our toughest opponent Memphis and good thing we won't be playing Memphis again in the conference championship game cause Memphis has really given us problems both games last year and the game this year.

Given the past couple of weeks games, I'd expect that each of the final three games will be the toughest opponent.

USF is a train wreck today.

Tulane looks like Goliath today, USF didn't bother to show up

LSU and Kentucky losses should have both teams below the Knights, for now. But the last-second win of West Virginia over Texas should have a firm leap-frog. Helpful losses are Utah and Iowa, as neither team can overtake the Knights now.

With Florida's loss, UCF is the state's clear top-team.

Right now I see the playoff seedings if all teams win out as:
1) Alabama
2) Clemson
3) Notre Dame
4) Michigan/OSU
5) Oklahoma/West Virginia
6) Georgia (if the Bulldogs beats Alabama in the SEC-title game, what a mess that will be)
7) Washington State
8) LSU
9) UCF

So for UCF to make the playoffs, all of these things must happen.
1) Either Michigan or OSU takes a loss and then beats the other team making both 2-loss teams.
2) West Virginia needs to take a loss and then beat Oklahoma making both 2-loss teams.
3) Georgia needs to lose to Alabama in the SEC title game.
4) Washington State needs to take another loss.
5) LSU needs to lose on the road to TAMU.

This combines to seven loss events for UCF to go top-4.

Plus the Knights need to go 1-0 every week, as the Coach likes to say. (my prediction if the Knights win out is something in the 6 or 7 range; i.e. no playoffs).

college football continues to prove itself a joke

lose by 14 - keep your ranking
win by 12 - drop 2 spots

It’s all about money. A committee filled with reps from the P5 isn’t going to let an outside team cash in. They already don’t like ND being in the conversation.

yeah. i believe LSU has played a harder schedule, but they lost 2. UCF should be above them. Its hard on you guys because, if i remember right, you guys hadnt beaten a team that has a winning record right as of last week? But even with that, you beat the teams you should beat convincingly (except Memphis, and weather played a part in that i believe). I do think LSU should have dropped out of the top-10.

Yet ND keeps getting the benefit of the doubt because of things that happened 100 years ago.

Pitt now has a winning record. So does Temple and Memphis.

I think UCF should have kept their spot, if they didn't move up I could live with that after giving up something close to 500 yards in the first half. To drop two spots after a victory is crap

Expectations for our men’s basketball team this year are getting a little out of hand. I’d be thrilled if we made the tourney.

ND did beat Michigan, which might be the most impressive win this year. Michigan looks really good. Their defense is the best in the country.

I thought last year's team was criminally underrated. They were criticized for their schedule, but I thought Memphis x2 and USF were tough opponents; regardless of their conference affiliations. It wasn't just that they were undefeated, but that they were so thoroughly impressive over the course of the season. I believe last year's team was as good as any team in the country and I'd have given them better than even odds against anyone.

This year's team just doesn't look to be as good though. The defense is really porous. It wouldn't surprise me if they drop any one of their remaining games. The ranking this year doesn't really matter though. UCF was never going to crack the playoff and they will be in a New Year's Six bowl if they run the table.

ESPN has UCF as the 10-seed before a game is played. That is impressive for the Knights/.

Quite frankly it makes me nervous, lol. We've never had such high expectations for basketball and the fact that the national pundits are with it is kind of freaking me out.

Game vs Rider tonight for basketball. Should be a hard first game for the season.
